This movie is the basis for the new Brackenwood game called "BrackenSack". Check it out at my site.

For me, Flash online is the perfect medium for any storyteller to reach a global audience... even if I do eventually become a live-action film director (one of my ambitions) I will probably continue to use Flash in some capacity. I love it like a brother :)

This was made in 2007 and, for the time, it was very good for a flash animation to be this well made. However, I cannot say that it aged perfectly. The animation rate and quality, which was amazing for when newgrounds just started, is now lacking and the character design is bland. The sound quality is not that fantastic either.
With all that having been said, this animation did age well, not perfectly, but well.
The editing is very good, keeping a fast pace during the chase scene and during the witch part. While bland, the character design is simple enough to be endearing and recognizable allowing you to know the characters there before one learns of who the characters are; and the sounds choices are very nicely made.
There is no doubt as to why these older posts keep themselves ingratiated to the newer viewers and why this one remains near the top of the lists. If you do not believe that it is because of the original quality, than you have not been here long enough to appreciate it.

Very good for the time.

The first of a series that I hold dear to my heart. I have to say that it's very beautiful and perfectly serves its purpose of introducing the audience to Bitey and his world. Fantastic job!

Meh, animation seems pretty good. Its the sound effects that's bothering me. Overall, I think its pretty good.

This series has been one of my most beloved inspirations for animation through my life :')
