That was hilarious! I loved it. I don't think you other people who reviewed it didn't realize that he wasn't protecting the RIAA, he was making fun of it. Come on people.... it's not that hard. And as for you KatoAllah, I don't think that this is supposed to be a persuasive documentary, it's a comedy... and a pretty funny one at that. You need to get a life dude. I'm sure he had "an understanding of the topic" but he was exaggerating....... EXGAGGERATING!

Unoriginal.

The RIAAs whole Secret Police treatment of kids who download music is a good idea for parody, but you did absolutely nothing original or interesting with it. So, the kid gets some burned CDs for free from some shady back alley guy and then gets caught by the RIAA. For one, this misses the mark simply because buying burned CDs would put you in no danger of being caught by the RIAA, since they work online and are after usernames and IP adresses. I know this is a parody, and in turn artistic liscense is allowed, but you need to have some relation to and understanding of your topic to make insightful comedy. Second, the fact that they surround and shoot him...where's the biting social commentary in this. It's so blunt and uncreative. It doesn't say anything beyond "RIAA are bad"! It doesn't give any argument or any reasoning. This is as much mindless propoganda as anything that they release. I'm in no way defending the RIAA, but if you're going to create a movie like this, start with a unique message and then conceive an insightful way to get it across. Don't deliver a watered down version of what's been said 8 billion times already.
