*** Strategy Guide has a website! ***

Welcome to Strategy Guide, hosted by everyone's favorite intergalactic space alien, Guido, and his pet cow Jorge! This time, Guido picks one of the toughest Nintendo games ever made, and attempts to prove it is impossible.

As promised (and on time might I add), I present to you: Episode 2! You don't need to watch episode 1 to understand this, as each episode stands on its own. Those of you who are familiar with the series should notice that the animation is a lot more fluid. To make a long story short, I changed my technique and jacked the fps from 24 to 30, for your viewing pleasure! Please enjoy the cartoon - your laughs and support keep me going.

And now for the Episode 2 FAQ, because you KNOW someone will ask!

Q: I was expecting more of the family after seeing the trailer. What gives?

A: This episode serves as a great jumping point for future installments. I now have a universe of characters at my disposal. Unfortunately, I have to introduce those characters before I can use them! So, episode 2 serves and an introduction to the Strategy Guide universe. Each following episode will contain one or more of Guido's family members.

Q: I've gotten to stage 3! Do you really suck?

A: No, I've made it to stage 3 as well (although admittedly, only a few times). This is what we in the cartoon business like to call a joke. :)

Q: Do you know the Stage Select Code for this game?

A: Yer darn tootin I do! Hold Right and press B, B, B. Release Right and press Up, B, B, B, Left, B, B, B, Down, B, B, B, Start.

Q: Are you in this for the money?

A: I'm in this because I find Guido as funny as you do!

Q: The Intro song ROCKS OUT! Where can I get more information about this band?

A: Go to RAGE's website! http://www.rage-on.de/ ... they've been around for years, and have many albums from which to choose. I recommend you buy them all. They're very talented musicians.

The trailer didn't do this justice. I thought you did an excelent job with this submission. The graphics are rellly well done. This series it really shaping up to be a great one. The game was awesome.

haha, that's great

I used to have Super Ghouls and Ghosts when I was a wee lad. It took up a significant part of my childhood that I'll certainly never get back. Ya had to play the thing through at least twice before you could actually beat it. What was that about? -_- Anyways, good Flash. Well animated and drawn. Good sound. While it wasn't laugh out loud funny, it had a definite charm. Looking forward to seeing more.

Needle responds:

It's a series tradition that you have to go through the game twice in order to beat it. It's the same deal with Ghosts n' Goblins, I'm afraid! The problem is, no one can get through it once, let alone twice. Impossible! Impossible! Impossible! :D

Yeah it was pretty funny, lol dude i have played that game and it is FUCKING HARD!!! all that is true, if you can even get to the third level you are a god to me...

And for all you fucks advertising outwar crap, get the hell offa this site im sick of seeing that.

preach it brother!

LOL that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on NG. You have got some serious talent Needle!

Graphics were very good (I love the intro sequence you've added since your last endevour). The incorporation of traditional Nintendo footage in your own animation is well done.
The sound is the only thing that I had a problem with. The music was great, but the main character's voice is just a little over the top. I mean the voice actor did a great job convincing me that your character is an observant, cursing, swearing psycho with anger management issues. But sometimes his voice borderlined on irritating. I'd like to see (hear) the voice toned down a little, but I won't begrudge you the point.
The dialogue was both hilarious and so incredibly true (at my best I once got within sight of that damn house's exit before Bubba the troll flattened my ass! Damn I hated that game!).

Please please keep making more of these. I will watch without fail. Great work!

And BTW, your character's suicide stat was out of date (36,885 was the number of suicides the year the game came out ^-^).

Not bad, but Ikaruga is the hardest game ever

Just rent the game and scream, it's impossible to beat the third level without continuing, even on easy
