The B&J Show

I've based this cartoon on jokes that my friend and I have actually played on our boss while at work (It's the Greatest Job in the World!), so I'll understand if some of you may not find quite as much humor in it as my coworkers and I do. Still, I think it's broad enough for anybody to enjoy though. I hope you like it...

wtf

if there is a log-in machine why was a door called log-in? lol for people who dont know how to use the machine? and if it is called the brent and j....(i forgot the name) show why did you have to put "starring brent" NO DUH it says it in the name hellllooo ok ill stop drinking the coffee now ^.^

cheshirepus responds:

You would be surprised as to the caliber of stupidity displayed by some of the students we work with at the M.S.C. (yes, that is where I really work) And yet, the students STILL fail to log in... And his name is James. He's a friend and coworker of mine in the lab and he's also scripting our first game. So, remember his name. :)
Anyway, thank you for the good review. I appreciate it, even if it is for my first submission.

This is explains the statement: "Graphics is ALL"

The storyline is okay and the joke isn't THAT bad, but "graphics is all".

If you did some kind of extended version with much better graphics and more than one joke(which is BARELY a show), it would be perfect.

For now, nah...

that was quite the funny flash...

lol, that was pretty good, but it could've been better. It went a bit to slow for my liking, and it could've used some more sounds apart from tha jazz music and the 'fart machine' noises. (not that they werent funny as HELL!!!) lol.
pretty good job tho.

cheshirepus responds:

Thanks for the kind words. I imagine some people would find it a little slow since I was going for the "Tom and Jerry" feel. I'm making another one similar to this about a doughnut and hotsauce, so I'll take a lot of your advice to heart when I clean it up in its final stage. Thanks again, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Needs blood!

Needs blood, good music.

Well, the animation wasn't much...

But this thing still managed to get a laugh out of me, even if it was only because of that weird-ass running animation. I have no idea why, I just found that to be the funniest part of the whole thing. I don't really have much to say about this one, but I can tell you right now that you made a really good choice with the music. It really went along with what was going on in the cartoon itself and it had the same kind of style, you know? Just enough to make the entire thing run together and look really good. The "fart machine" joke was kind of stupid, but hey, it's Newgrounds, right? No one really cares. But yeah, if there was just one more thing I would add, it'd be a little more colour to the intro of the movie. There was just too much white in the first minute or so of the movie and to be completely honest with you, when I saw that one scene, I thought the entire thing would turn out to be crap. You surprised me though, and for that, you're getting a 3 from me. Work on it, but for now, that's pretty damn decent.

cheshirepus responds:

Thank you for your input. The running scene is also my favorite, by the way. I'm glad you said something about the intro as well since I'm trying to pass that off as a standard for a small series of the same style. Upon mentioning the lack of color in the beginning, I do agree with you, and am probably going to do something about it. I'll probably also make the intro just a little bit shorter than it is too for the next one.
Thank you for your input, and I'm glad you enjoyed parts of my movie.
