this was kinda stupid when you think about it. i mean, i could understand it all, i knew the knocking was offscreen and that he was giving him an apple, but it just wasn't really that funny, you know?

Too Many Costumes

Why was the guy handing out candy dressed as a ghost? At first I thought he was the one doing the trick-or-treating. If he was doing the handing-out, why would he be surprised that he was out?

You needed to indicate that the "Knock Knock" sound effect was coming from off screen. The viewer has seen only the one character at that point, so it's going to be assumed that he's the one doing the knocking.

You needed to put more effort into drawing the apple, since it's so important to the punchline. The drawing was so abstract that it could have been a piece of wrapped candy or a cherry bomb or almost anything.

Was the ghost supposed to be dead at the end? He was covered in red, but he looked like he was still standing.

That was okay

Not bad for a first flash. The graphics weren't the best and the plot was kind of strange. But you did a good job with it so I gave you a decent score. Keep trying and you will do better.
