Note: My old site '' is gone. New site is ''.
- Updated 9/25 : Added a character select, and raised the music quality despite the filesize cost. Also boosted the resolution to normal. Happy Happy.
- Well, I figured since Megaman had 2 games from me this year I should give X one as well :) So here's an 8bit Nintendo looking MMX game. You'll get a good surprise if you make it to the second half and a even better one if you beat it. This follows my Rick's Adventure timeline, not Capcoms so expect so changes.
- Please keep in mind that this is Flash doing this, not a console so some things are beyond ones reach. And if you aren't a fan of Megaman, then I'd ask you judge this on the games engine, not the characters.
- Those who were shocked by MMN2's change, don't worry. This is 8bit Megaman X goodness all the way.
- I tried to make this game as fast and small as possible so those on dialup or weaker systems can get it and play reasonably too. Don't forget to right-click and hit low quality if ya need to.
- Use the links in the game for the instructions & other info. If you can't open new windows (Because you have a popup blocker) then email me and I'll send you the links.
- I love legit reviews, however I despise ignorant or half assed ones. If you don't like something please tell me why, but don't be an asshole about it cause I won't put up with it. If you think this is total crap then I would like to have the links to the other Flash games of the same Genre that surpasses mine so I can learn more.

Arrow Keys = Move.
A = Dash
S = Jump (Hold to go higher, also to get off ladders)
D = Attack (Only attacks on release)

Thanks :)
And here's yet another happy 15th to Capcom's greatest series.

Could be better...why did you use Megaman X S-Treme 1-2 sprites???Having snes detailed ones instead of semi-colored gbc sprites??
The game is great reminds me of the Mgaman Next,You should work for Capcom:D

maelstormm responds:

Theres a very long reason why I used 8bit graphics. Mainly filesize and performance. The entire game minus cutscenes and sound is under 320k. That means those on dialup can easily download it. Also those on weaker systems can handle the graphics easily so they don't get screwed out of fun. Webhosts, like Newgrounds, also appreciate small filesizes because it consumes less bandwidth. I can do 32bit graphics just as easily, look at Bolt Blaster or MMN2 (See my profile).
I'd love to work at Capcom... who knows maybe the day will come and I will :)

You did alright. For the most part, things go smoothly enough. Two things, first, the charge up on the buster should be a tweeked a little, so that his normal firing responds a lot better. Secound of all, the health drops should give a whole lot more health.

Other than that, nice work!

maelstormm responds:

The buster only fires when you release the button, so it can cause it to seem delayed. I'm evil, so the life thing is like that purposely. Better than no life pellets at all :)
Thanks for the review.

i love megaman...but you ruined this game...that f*$#ing sucked...dont ever do something like this again....and a warning to all who wants to play this game...DON'T!!!

maelstormm responds:

Who cares about your opinion? You are a nobody in the Flash field. The only thing that belongs in this space is a review for this game, not your crybaby whining. A review is something that explains why it sucks, not how you wanna have a hissy fit.
Send me an email with the reasons why this game sucked in it, that means details dingleberry. Also include the links to other platform games done in Flash of the same genre so I can see what you compared mine to.
