This piece of work was actually my very first flashcreation and took about 5 month until it was complete. During mid-development I lost interest and made "Mario gets old" instead.

Please keep in mind that this game was never intended to me a big thing - the trilogy wasn't even planned up to this point. I only made this game to learn the basics of Flash MX.

Actually, the game was made with no variables but in Frame-by-Frame and a hand full of tweens near the end. Oh, the horror...

Not bad

This was an okay game, but I didn't like the hero. A middle-aged, fat, yellow guy wearing a tie is not my idea of a hero. Other than that, pretty good, especially for a first flash.

It's a start

I could imagine for its time, this was fantastic, but nowadays it looks a bit dated. Lop 2 is far better. In fact, I'm off to play that.

It's O.K.

LOP2 was better, but this was alright.

Decent start for awesome trilogy.

And for Caduman, sequel came out like one year ago, and it's pretty good. 7 is enough for this game.

Good, semi parodic gaming goodness

First off, I must say that this was a pretty good game. Sure it isn't perfect, but it's WAY better than some of the entries posted on Newgrounds. Good characters and music choice, along with a nicely chosen room & item layout, make this a 7/10 IMO........and is IMO an all around good game to play.

Also, the semi-parody of LoK: Soul Reaver(both in the ending and the music/feel in the game.) was chosen with almost perfect accuracy........and fit the gameplay like a glove. (I admit I haven't played the whole LoK game yet, but I do notice the similarities.)

Now, I go to play part 2.........cheers and all that until my next review then.
