This game is based on the style of classic Warner Bros. cartoons from the 1940's and takes some inspiration from some cartoons/comics from the 1980s. The system is inspired by a tabletop RPG game from Steve Jackson Games, which I've given it the title "Toon" as tribute, but I reworked the RPG system so to fit a video game format in a more accessible way.
Credit to Greg Costikyan, Warren Spectre, and Jeff Dee for the inspiration of the tabletop Toon pen & paper RPG behind this game.

This was fun, wish that there was a bit more going on.. but the idea is really fun for sure!
I really really like this game (as well as the pen-and-paper RPG it's based on). It's a terrible shame it was never finished.

What I saw was good, but the fact that you posted it on Newgrounds in 03, and now it's 09, makes me think- Did you even start working on it? Are you still even using flash? Doubt it...
