I object to the term "Trimmed", as this is not a recognized term in the Film Cutting community. You see, when we have to make any sort of cut to a feature we have been contracted to oversee, we enter the debate room adjacent to the viewing room and have a serious discussion. Sometimes we end up in fist fights, and hurtful words are used which divides the community. Eventually, we end up 9/10 times NOT cutting any aspect of the feature.

So please. Remember, real people work in the film cutting industry, and using hurtful terms such as "Trimming" devalues our work in preservation. Thank you for your understanding.
