Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

Unbelievably Messed-Up Bible Stories: In the Beginning: Based on actual scripture from the bible, this cartoon series plans to tell “the greatest story ever told” with complete accuracy, and in chronological order.

Reviews

It's great to see where this popular idea started out. I like how you had nudity in this, but it wasn't treated as crude in any way. I mean, for something that's making fun of the Bible, you were actually accurate in that manner. It was great for you to use actual scripture to make it authentic. Granted, I don't think a lot of those jokes are in the actual Bible, but it's something. I imagine that if God was there and nothing else, he'd probably want to create the world.

This was actually well drawn, especially with all the animals that were around. It sounds like a real challenge to adapt a book with over 700,000 words in it. Yes, that is how many words are in the Bible and it's even more than "Atlas Shrugged"! I just think the design looked very nice and everything was done in a clear manner. I suppose if I was in Adam or God's situation, I would think the same things.

Great but i have a few concerns and questions

Was the penis the only reason this is adult? Is the reason that god didnt want mankind to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil because no one person's understanding of good and evil doesnt necissarily have to be better or worse than another's? Ive never really read the bible. Some of it but only Genesis and the book of job i think

Great, but a little overdone

The animation is really good until Adam starts moving, but overall no complaints there. Quality and sync of voice acting were good, and the pacing didn't leave anything to be desired.

My big beef was that the author commentary didn't let the in-congruency speak for itself. It was as subtle and biting as an extra-dimensional mallet. The Bible doesn't need your help to sound silly, the extra "thst" and God referring to Adam as "Thou" constantly, detracted from some very humorous satire.

"nice, i guess some of the bible dosnt make sense"

If you consider 'some' the entire thing then yeah, some of it just doesn't make sense.

This about sums it up...

I find it interesting how people say God is loving and kind, but when you REALLY look at it, he's kind of a prick.
Boy, it sure is a good thing that there's a little thing saying not to be mean and offensive at the bottom of this message box, or I might've compared God to a Pedophile. I'm sure I would get flamed for that. Hey, maybe I can find a flash of someone saying that here!
