Just wanted to add that the screenshot looks really good. It must be taking forever with all of the detail.

Definatelly not. If you take a look around my DA page there are a lot of hand drawn pictures and stuff too.

Is it just me, or is there a face on the moon? I see one, it looks KIND OF like a skull?

Or maybe I am just crazy...

You shouldn't be showing'em to everyone.Keep'em to yourself and then sell them for millions of dollars!

Lol. Would you believe that I haven't sold a piece of work in my life, how funny is that?

Thanx, yeah, I hope to finish it in some 2-3 months, with my day job and what not in the way. You got some serious talent on you, btw. C'mon, make a flash movie, it'll sure be awesome.

It's a skull, I see it every time I look at the moon.

I believe it.

It's very difficult to start selling art. You have to have a certain level of self confidence that many artists lack in order to get your stuff represented. There is a lot of rejection, and dissapointment to deal with.

You either have to have a very hard shell or have absolutely nothing to lose.

I can understand that easily as far as anything drawn digitally. As far as digital artwork goes, since talent can be forged with technology its not as hard to come by as artwork done with other tools. With digital work...as far as buying and selling...its not very frequent outside of website layouts and images...and possible advertisements.

Erm.....It's probably just me but I didn't find that remotely funny at all.Even though some of the pictures were just copied and pasted they were still pretty cool.

4.987/10,because comics are supposed to be funny.

The only person who I can think of who would draw cool lava would be Pako, but I'm quite sure you're not going for a cartoony style.Just keep trying till you get it.

I knew I shouldn't have said that, it totally came out wrong. It was meant more as a rhetorical statement than an arrogant assumption that i should have sold work or something. I know the what the art industry is like, I'm not naive. It's to be expected since I haven't really tried selling or exhibiting that much anyway. Sigh... that probably came out wrong too.

Sorry. Maybe my wording was poor also.

There are benefits and drawbacks to writen dialogue over conversational dialogue. One of the drawbacks is, obviously, that all tone and emphasis is lost.

What I said (if that's what you are responding to, at least in part) was never intended as anything belittling your intelligence or knowledge in any way. Just sort of a sopbox deal to the general public by way of response, if that makes any sense..?

It wasn't directed toward you but more toward Dark_Toaster or anyone who thinks that having artistic talent (or any kind of talent really) is some kind of easy road to fortune, as that is far from the truth (nothing personal Toaster :)).

I should just learn to keep my mouth shut.

Don't worry about it, really. I haven't been sleeping very well lately so my perception is kind of off and I keep saying stupid stuff. I wasn't offended by what you said, sorry if it came across like that, more at my inability to communicate. That's kind of why I'm not that big on AIM or msn, the conversation loses a lot when you can't see the person, and in life I'm naturally quite sarcastic and big on deadpan humour, which doesn't work on el computer at all.

Hmm..I don't remember saying that human + talent = money/job.Maybe I didn't express myself well neither..I just suggested you to start a career as an artist since you have a big talent for drawing and you like it.Anyway,it is 100% your decision.

Let's just all shut our mouths,okay? >:)
