Not a bad idea. I have no clue Where I am relative to anyone, but I was thinking to start a town in the middle or in a corner for visual purposes.

I'm pretty sure I've suggested this before. It's in one of my earlier post on the first page and will help[ you figure out where you are on the map.

Each player can have their own town if they really want to, it's not a great idea, but we could do it.

Find a town with a general store and just click it from your inventory, then how many you want to sell.

My user name within the MMO is: the-puppet and I'm currently a Level 8 Greenhorn (27/91), leaning towards the Worker class (cowboy, craftsman or mortician) and have $181 plus misc. items/work products. The bottom left corner gained about 3 towns since I picked it out, but I still like the spot. I provides easy access to a few jobs, and there are some good towns to abuse there. I'm picking sugar cane, and just report here when you reach that area.
