It's a special update today! Not just the 20th update since Dev took over (#19 was my tenth), but also one where, as the fourth user ever, DoctorStrongbad has attained 5x10K stats! Yeah I should be able to get up some ranks eventually. Though I'm closing in on going up a rank in b/p.
I'm currently at 19,319. I got 62 points since I last posted. So thats something. I wanna say the next rank up is another 181 points. So if I just vote on everything that comes through the portal for most of next week I should be good.
I know I've been posting irregularly for the past few days. But I dunno if it's enough to get me up any. Then again I'm almost at 15,100 posts already. And I only hit 15k a week ago. If I keep up the rate of getting about 100 posts a week. I'll hit 16k in just over 2 months. Yeah, and if you keep voting on everything that comes through for a month you'll have a good shot at one of those top topper spots! B/P accounts for the biggest part of those stats yet, at least 7-800 each month if you check a few times a day. Add to that 300 EXP and then some of the more laborious stats like these here posts...

Indeed. So I'm hoping I can keep an at least steady flow of b/p points going and can get back in the groove of things and start ranking up again. I keep getting stuck sitting at rankings for months at a time because I slack off and end up not voting on more than what I'd "need" to get experience.

Well the EXP and b/p go hand in hand really. If you're looking to gain b/p points you're guaranteed to vote on at least 5 submissions a day. So there ya go for gaining EXP.
Also out of all stats, I find posting to be the easiest to get out of em all.

When I had too much free time (I didn't consider it too much until I started having less of it!) my main issue was checking the portal too often, at times when there weren't any new submissions to check, so at times: wasted time, but not wanting to collect more B/P than I need... that'd be a strange sensation! :)

Yeah, both posts and reviews do go slow, though feels like posts are still much quicker to type up... I suppose because you don't need to view a submission of pre-defined length before writing it, just skim responses at will, and the context isn't as limited either. On the other hand, reviews don't get removed as often as posts do, with the old-topics-getting-deleted problem...

Hmm comparing to the last update it seems right. Between updates you gained 12 blams and 4 saves, but lost 3 reviews and 1 post... so at least with regard to the list the increase matches the stats, and the stats don't lie I hope.
