I have the 30-watt Spider 3, and those things kick ass.
You're right about the delay, it sounds amazing.
I should take a picture of all my guitar shit, at some point.

Have you ever seen the Schecter Gryphons? I'm pretty sure they were discontinued awhile back, but I played one at Guitar Center before and I got some really sick tones out of it. I think it wasonly $499 too.

So, no hard feelings.
Why do you need a full band to record? I do everything myself (See the song I posted? All me.).
If you need some tips on how to get started doing it al yourself, feel free to PM me.

Because I can only play keyboard instruments at the moment :X

I started making music in reason, and I loved thor. But I hated the lack of vst suppport in reason, so I switched to FL. And now I got my reason rewired to FL, and I can still use thor ^^

I really need to try working with Reason again. I couldn't understand a thing about the little fucker, it made no sound?!
I'll need to download the demo again and try looking for some tutorials.

Well it's even more annoying in FL, with 56 effects running it even lags my 3gigs of ram and my dual core processor... but that's probably vista eating my system resources.

Did you use a ultrabeat kick for that, or is that a sample from elsewhere?
I hate music dance music in Logic, purely because it's a mission to load in external samples..

I meant use less patterns. Optimize workspace, y'know? It gets kinda difficult to see what's going on in a 5+ minute song if it's organized like that.

Problems with samples...boo.

Ambi-
Try using the Ultrabeat kit "Drag and drop samples" it's set up for just that and makes stuff a bit easier. Plus, you should be able to just drag from the browser on the right into the sample area in Ultrabeat.

And, that's one hell of a automation pattern there, greg. What's the crazy shit in the background? Still cutoff? I is wants to hear that snare pattern lol.

I can never get Ultrabeat kicks to sound like that ;_; It's part of a sample pack I bought from http://www.zenhiser.com/. What I do is I open up a preexisting template, 90% of the time I'm trying to make trance and I find the Trance 2 kit is the best. I then go to where the sample is, and click and hold on the name and a menu pops up and I click load sample like so I like doing this because all the filters and envelopes that are already on there will save you a lot of work. If I'm trying to make drum and bass, and want a really short high hat, the drum and bass kits have very short envelopes on their high hats so I'd just load an external sample into say, the "closed high hat" spot.

I also have a really good knowledge of Ultrabeat so I can edit it to be unique too. Also I think Ultrabeat's 2 band EQ is a really good tool if you have a good sample, it's very fast and I usually just end up using that, and then throw in a "Standard Kick EQ" Under Chan EQ for more punch.

Don't doubt Ultrabeat, it's one of the most valuable tools in Logic.

It's the "evolution" for that filter.

I is wants to hear that snare pattern lol.

Holy crap man, that's gotta be really interesting in your song

I downloaded Frohmage so I can screw around with that. More fun for thanksgiving break, hurray.

Oh and Ambi, if you're finding your knowledge a bit lacking in the ultrabeat area, check out MacProVideo. They've got a crapload of tutorials on logic and also have an Ultrabeat one. It's GREAT and shows you EVERYTHING. I think it's only about 30 bucks, but I would highly recommend it. It's tutorials in the form of videos and a guy showing examples. Good stuff there. Anyways, just some suggestions.

Greg, let me know when you finish that song, it looks to be sweeeeeet.
