Why should it be locked? Gays are a minority, and it's perfectly understandable and fair that they'd want to reach out and hang out with others who are in similar positions, especially when there are so many straight people like you who discriminate against them.
Then there's the userpages... I know mods don't have any authority about what goes on in our userpages, but ever so often I happen to land across some gay's profile.
There's nothing wrong with posting a picture of two guys kissing. In facts, it's far better than a lot of the porn/suggestive shit people post on their userpages.
I know a lot of people are just going to tell me to not look in those userpages, but there's a lot of them, it's difficult to avoid them completely.
Whatever, man. If you see something that is clearly breaking rules in someone's profile, notify an admin about it. Note that being gay and discussing it/posting pics of gay people doesn't break any rules.
As has been said, a lot of it is just trolling, too.
