Sorry for the late announcement - but NG has been running solely on 300mbps since Friday. Crazy, right? Has anyone noticed improvements? There is a good chance you might not, because we are still straining our hardware. Also, third party ad code often delays the time it takes for a page to load.

We haven't gotten our bandwidth tracking on-line for the new source, so I can't say if we are maxing it out already. I can't wait to find out, though! On Sunday we served out over 1.9 million Portal views. Two million is right around the corner!

In other news, has anyone here seen Battle Royal? I finally got an import on DVD, and it rocks. :)

Seems a tad faster over the past few days.

Again, I have to ask- how much does this shit cost?

I have gotten quite a few Please try later server under huge amounts of stress atm messages... or under a huge load whatever it is...

but in general the loading of things has been faster!

Yeah, it the shizzle my nizzle. ;) The real question is has anybody seen battle Royale 2? They seem to be protecting it with an iron chastity belt to keep americans from getting our grubby hands on it! You can just imagine what I'd wanna do with it. ;)

It's still pretty much the same speed. Anyways, Battle Royale is great, as is the uncut Versus, and classic splatter fu Story of Ricky. Course you never stick around to read the BBS anyways. You lousy post and run person you. :P

I have also gotten quite a few of those "Server is under extreme load at the moment. Please click here to go back and try again" messages. I have also been getting a few of those BBS Error Messages too. I guess that is because I am on NG for 8 hours a day.

I have noticed a difference in speed, and yes it is faster...HOWEVER, on sunday, i could not access quite a few submissions because it said that there was so much traffic. SO, i think newgrounds is gunna nedd 400Mbs, within the next few months, especially seeing as christmas and halloween are coming

It has been blazingly fast at loading movies this weekend, I suspected the new bandwidth was up. But I have been getting a lot of "server under extreme load" errors at peak times.

i mentioned in my post that i heard it was coming out state side in november. i got this from a friend that went to an import store to check out if it was released yet. it came out in june (?) in theaters...so its only a matter of weeks!!!! ...i hope

uploads.newgrounds.com doesn't serve movies every so often, but it seems to fix itsself within an hour or so every time it happens.

And aside from the regular stuff, NG does seem a little faster.

Yea I had the same thing got some extream load msg myself too.

It's sped up, but not so much that I've noticed it that much. Maybe its because i have cable modem and everything is fast anyway....
