I believe such a great music generated gem should deserve it's own Club now. I'll administrate this Club from time to time, but later on, I might need some helpers to regularly check on it.

Basically, this Club was created for any people who are interested in the "Audiosurf" game that can be downloaded via Steam.

Details about the game can be shown here.
Other information from Steam about the game here.

The rules are stated from the NG BBS rules. So please follow them accordingly.

There's only a few requirements here, but trust me, you'll need it so you can be more familiar and also be more interest to the club.
1.Please state your Audiosurf account.
2.List one or two songs that you think would be good to play (whether you tell us if it's easy/normal/hard) (also this is optionable)
3.Tell us what genres you like.

The #1 requirement is a big one, since if you we know your account, we can add you as a friend.
Without further ado, I hope you enjoy the Club.

Here's just a little taste on what you should put on the requirements.

1.My account is Lost-Wisdom
2.I like the Portal song "Still Alive" and other numerous songs that can be hard to list.
3.And genres are Alternative,Rock,Easy Listening,Classical,Techno,Trance,Ambien t and others...

Everything I see is just a image of my thoughts "Always looking for a better day..."

Update: Well, the views are high yet it seems that many people either don't have this game or are planning to buy it.

Some think this game is a waste of money, but I can tell you, it's worth the $10 bucks.

People who complain about the price are morons, it's just 10 dollars, it won't break your wallet.

Geez.

Thanks for the feedback. I wish people appreciated this game. Or at least tried the DEMO. It's fun to play and at most addicting to play.

Update: Arg, I'm getting tons of emails from other users that play Audiosurf that are constantly beating my scores. So far, about 6-7 scores that I got from various songs are broken.

I gotta keep my title you know.

They should really implement something so we don't need to know about people beating our highscores.

A option would be nice.

I've heard it can be a bit problematic.

It's worth every penny to get it.
Also, not very problematic at all.

The game itself runs beautiful, but yes, at times, Steam has been prone to fucking up, but it happens rarely. Spend the $10 and that bit of time downloading Steam and play!

I don't think I've ever had a problem with Steam. In fact, I love Steam! No CDs/DVDs to hold on to, no need for a CD or DVD to play, or even a fixed exe or iso for that matter. So long as you don't forget your password (I did once) your games will alway be there, where ever you are (providing you have internet of course).

I remember back in the day they released a patch or some update to Steam and it caused major fuck ups with anyone who logged on when it was still up. But i agree with the whole no CD/DVD thing.

The mono versions shouldn't be that hard.

But now I'm tempted by Portal for £10. Curse you Lost-Wisdom!

But if you buy Portal, then you'll want HL2:EP2, and if you get HL2:EP2, then you'll want TF2, and if you want it all, then you should have just gotten the Orange Box.

Yet another fun game to enjoy, it's quite short but if you enjoy challenging puzzles, I really recommend you try it.

You should only get it seperately only if you want a specific game you want. Although The Orange Box is such a good deal. I can't believe people won't refuse that offer.

You're correct, it's under 700 MB since I have the game in the first place.
Not that much of a big game, and also that it doesn't kill the computer since the graphics are simple yet good to look at.

I found this club about a week ago. I actually thought it was a club for "technosurf", one of the games i found on here. I didn't like THAT game very much, but i decided to check it out. Seemed interesting, got steam, and played the demo.

By the second song, i knew i had to have this game...
I'm not the kinda guy who splurges money at all. Seriously, i NEVER spend money unless i obsess over something for about at least a week.

I splurged, and i'm still having fun with it.

As the Main DJ of the Newgrounds radio, i often use this game to play through a song that someone recomends, to see where it should fit in. I also use it to come up with a "Line-up"

If anyone needs some music to play through, click my sig for my Direct-download page for links to some songs. I think some of you would particularly like the 6th episode, since dance music seems to have the best effect on Audio Surf.

Last note, i actually find mono harder than pointer... I find it easier to hit every note, than to have to dodge most of the notes...
