You should consider starting, Rock Band is a lot better than Guitar Hero.

Xbox 360/PS3 DLC - 02/24/09

Drive By Truckers - 3 Dimes Down
Lucinda Williams - Can't Let Go
Neko Case - People Got a Lot of Nerve
Old 97s - Time Bomb (LIVE)
Steve Earle - Satellite Radio

Jimmy Eat World - Futures
Jimmy Eat World - Lucky Denver Mint
Jimmy Eat World - Sweetness

$1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track
$8.49 (680 Microsoft Points) for Alt Country Pack

Alt-Country? Meh.
Futures and Sweetness from JEW? Hell fucking yes.

Would've preferred Lucky Denver Mint to be switched with A Praise Chorus.

If you're on xbox, you can go to The Online Marketplace and search Rock Band 2. You'll probably have to skip quite a lot of pages to get to the RHCP.

Here's my recommendations:
Snow (If you want a major guitar challenge.)
Tell Me Baby (Bass = HOLY SHEET.)

Under The Bridge. Period. You are required by LAW to buy this epic song.

There's the entire Blood Sugar Sex Magik album too...it's okay in my opinion.

I also recommend "I Could've Lied." It's really easy, but it has two AWESOME guitar solos.

How about you just buy the entire Blood Sugar Sex Magik album? It's all 10x more epic than Stadium Arcadium shit with Suck My Kiss, Under The Bridge, Naked In The Rain, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Greeting Song, etc.

Costs 1,600 MSP.

Just saw that, don't know why they didn't add it to the Zine aswell.

Maybe they've only just recently been able to acquire the rights to that song, because there is still another song missing from the No Doubt hits album "Trapped in a Box"

I agree with all of those songs you posted, and I agree with The Kids Aren't Alright, but the rest of these songs are a bore for me as I'm focused on Guitar, yeah sure they'll be nice to listen to.. but, not satisfying. Regardless, I'll still be buying the entire week, as I always do.

Also about the next installment of Rock Band, they're not working on a Rock Band 3 and they probably won't start working on it until early 2010, they said (why make a new game when it has no flaws at the moment), which I totally agree on unlike Guitar Hero releasing new software every few months, I just can't keep buying it.

We'll be seeing RB3 probably Summer-Autumn time 2010. Although The Beatles is out this year, and it costs more than usual for the bundle set, so you could be either seeing a new instrument (probably the bass) or they've done some very big upgrades on the drums/guitar.

I never imagined trying to collect the whole Rock Band downloadable content. That'd be pretty sweet. How possible that is for me remains to be seen, but I can start once I go back to work in a couple weeks.

I've started getting all the DLC again the past 3 months of this year, I had a very large gap of not getting any and it really hit me hard trying to get them all again with all these new albums coming out. But I'm good at the moment with 494 songs (on-disc and hard drive), my AC/DC live arrived this week and I'm just missing the Country and Alt-Country pack now which I will get when I have money to blow, I could've actually got them today but I spent it on Banjo-Kazooie LOL.

That's a pity to hear, but I still couldn't agree with you more. They have a good thing going on right now, and they really don't need to change what they're doing with it. It'd be nice to see a few more songs released at a time than the current rate that's going on (excluding full albums), but doing what they're doing right now is working out just fine.

The only thing is though, is if they don't release new games then people might not buy Rock Band material because not everyone has an internet connection or just doesn't buy DLC. Yeah sure, video games are adapting to this generation of console now and a lot of people do get DLC, but there is a minority, so RB can't wait too long or the sales will start going towards GH games maybe, but I know they're trying to counter Metallica with The Beatles, but GH has 3 games coming out in the next 9 months (Greatest Hits, Metallica and GH5- not named yet).

RB isn't doing too well in sales over here in Europe, but that's because they havn't managed to get RB2 out yet (standalone game is out for X360 but that's it), it's quite a disappointment to be honest, thank god Beatles is being released international this time.

Getting upgrades on the instruments would be a sweet idea. I know it's going to be a while, but seeing what they'll come out with if they do touch up the instruments is well worth the wait.

Yep, GH has *upgraded* the instruments kind of, with the symbols on drums and the open notes on bass, etc. I can see complications happening if RB tries to incorporate something like that, the major one being what will happen to the old songs/charts? Will they have to update every single one of them? That will be one heck of an update for people to download.

We'll see what happens, hopefully something good!
