HUMANS! the best of news; next Monday is our first anniversary together, on that day lets look back on very loathsome memories of how I brutally forced my way into your lives and refused to leave.

Sheer brilliance.
I especially loved the 170 shades of turquoise.

Seriously, who is this guy? I don't know. If we draw alike, it must be strictly coincidental.

The unfortunate twist to the story is that ban evasion is not allowed and can result in account deletion.

I have nothing to say that is at all relevant.

Nobody said anything about a HiryuGouki.

You're not fooling anybody, just stop. At the rate you're going when you jump into the hole you've dug your femurs are going to explode and drive your hips spiraling into your skull. At the very least you'll be literally talking out of your ass while you're doing it figuratively.

One last thing before I end this conversation:

Photoshop or SAI? Which one would be better to use?

Either, it depends on taste. They're both good.

I'm always inclined to give a fellow enough rope to hang or save himself with, but I'm not in charge. There's no reason not to go ahead and reform, though. The best way to persuade us you really want to get better would be to stop posting for a long time and instead focus on art work- spend upwards of 5 hours on single pieces, rather than just a half hour on sketches and then uploading them for attention.

Come back after a few weeks with some really kickass work and some real improvement, and we'll sit up and take notice.

SAI i generally considered better for line art, but i haven't used it. Photoshop is a program capable of doing allot of things,
And the standard for many diffrent fields.Very stable and has allota special effects and stuff.
But if you dont know how to use them the effects will just look cheap.

Fucking no. Don't act like we're motherfucking Yahoo Answers after you waltz in here and try to trick people, and after that try to continue the facade like we're a bunch of fucking imbecile drooling retard pillow fuckers.

Get the fuck out and serve your ban time like the rest of us do when we deal with your bullshit.

On the bright side when you come back maybe you'll have grown up and starting showing people the same respect you demand for yourself.

Think of it this way; everything you can do in Sai, you can emulate in Photoshop. If you're willing to learn the more technical aspects of the program, like brush control and configuring the UI (not exactly rocket science, but still a few hours of brushing up), then definitely Photoshop, no contest.

However, if you simply want to just right in and begin painting/drawing, then Sai is for you.

Well, I have Photoshop right now, but some friends of mine said SAI is WAAAAAAY better for drawing. I dunno though, considering I am asking in the first place.

Do you have money?
SAI costs money.
It's pretty inexpensive, so if you crack SAI, you're a disappointment.
Don't have money? Don't get SAI.
Problem solved :D

I believe everyone else answered your questions.
Moving on. :3

It's not even slightly "better", it's easier. Blending is easy, colour picking is easy, the UI is easy. I've always considered it the Mac to Photoshop's PC, if that analogy makes any sense.

I started painting in Photoshop because it was the program I had when I decided to pull my painting stint in the first place; I got introduced to drawing digitally through making forum signatures, so I already knew quite a bit of the program, but if I could do it all again I'd give SAI a second look. Either way it's not a choice you'll regret, so long as you start learning your program of choice immediately.

There's a free version of one of the old versions of SAI that was fan-translated.

So Hiryu was KiwiSundae? Why am I not surprised? Anyway, regarding the sai or photoshop discussion, I think photoshop is a bit better than sai if you want more options and a whole myriad of other things to make effects. Yup.
