Why a stick figure? The reason flash artists use stick figures is because they are soooooo easy to draw. That way if you're doing an animation at 24 frames per second you can handle drawing that character 2,880 times for a 2 minute animation. And it still showcases your talent for animation. But for a piece of still art it just doesn't make sense. Why did you draw a stick figure if it's not animated. What does that show us about your talent? Art requires practice, practice shows dedication. This makes me think you are lazy. You might not be lazy, but you're not showing me you aren't.
