Which do you prefer?
Laptop keys are generally much thinner and smaller (more flat than anything), whereas the average desktop generally has more thick, blocky keys to push down.
Which do you prefer and why? I notice a significant change in my typing speed and comfortability range between laptop and desktop keyboards. I prefer laptops, in my opinion. I do know that "special" keyboards for desktops can be purchased to be more like laptops, but laptops always have thin keys.
I prefer desktop, only because that's what I'm used to typing on. Whenever I use a laptop I'm a much slower typer.
I prefer desktop keyboards over laptop keyboards. They are alot easier to type on, and for some reason, I can't stop making typos on a laptop keyboard. It's much easier to type on a desktop.
I prefer desktops over laptops in general, though...
Laptop, because I'm more used to using one, it messes me up when im on a desktop keyboard
I think it depends on what do you use more: lap-tops or just ordinary computers.
Since I'm a lap-top user, my vote goes to them.
Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.
desktop... laptop is too small
"What seest thou else. In the dark backward and abysm of time?"
I prefer desktop keyboards, they are designed to be 'blocky' so that they are easier to type on.
Laptop Keys. I like 'em better in general, i like the feel, and the thing about desktop keyboards for me is when you raise it, and it's uneven, and then it starts to clang all over the place when you type. That is annoying. So, laptops all the way. Too bad I'm stuck on this desktop piece of crap.
Sometimes when typing on the laptop, my finger lifts too little after tapping a letter and moves to another letter, and I accidentally press the key beside.
It doesn't happen when I'm using a desktop keyboard. I prefer a desktop keyboard.
