@TheMaster You get used to having 3 rockets after awhile. Liberty launcher is also great with short distances, too. Speed is one of the main factors for rocket launchers. Although it's hard to kill mid-high health classes after rocket jumping, you just need to plan your moves smarter and I bet the time it takes to reload the LL and fire off a rocket is close to the time it takes to fire off a normal rocket, depending on the distance.

Those cockfighters are tradeable now, they're going for ridiculous prices though.

People excuse this by saying there's only 4000 of them, when there are only 2000 of the El Jefes and those are 12 keys.
Well that's my rant on this.

What do you mean with not being shiny? Can you provide a picture of the shiny guns and a picture of your non-shiny ones?

THis is what my weapons should look like when shiny and crit glowing.

This is what my guns actually looks like when critical and when normal, no glow or shine, just bland and electricity.

regardless of the distance, you are still trading off your damage output for easier to hit rockets. crutch. the main factor of rocket launchers is the splash damage which is why you don't necessarily need the rockets to be fast in the first place. the only classes that you will have particular trouble killing off of a rocket jump with default would be maybe another soldier or a heavy, unless they are overhealed, because you can just fire three rockets straight up without having to worry about reloading

it takes 0.92s to reload a rocket with either the ll or the default so i guess if you consider 1 second to be close.. it takes about 1 more second to do the same damage you could with the default. a lot can happen in a second

Have you installed in graphics configurations or altered the settings? Are you running in dx8 or dx9?

You might also consider asking on the TF2 section on the steam forums. There's a lot more tech people over there, than there is in this thread.

There are sites that you can use to modify your hud and such.

I use Frankenhud.

Isn't that the normal hud?

In darkjam's second post I think its the normal one, but in the one he was quoting, it seemed different.

I would use it but after using the jag a stock wrench feels rather redundant.

Speaking of buds, I'm trying to sell my bp for buds, I'm having no luck.

I have gotten good offers though, a Halloween painted Bill's hat and Essential accessories. But that's low.

Are they on the Steam market? I might be interested in getting buds again after getting rid of mine months back when I thought I was done with the game. No worries if I fail to get it since it's something I can live without but it would be nice to have them agaih.

This is becoming a legitimate concern for me but...Why whenever Team Fortress 2 updates the download is roughly the size of the game itself? Like every time. 12.1 GB.
Sometimes if there is a promo item update it'll be a reasonable number, but what in the hell is up with these 12.1 GB patches? Or is Steam just wigging out? Bug fixes and server fixes can be patched with roughly a 50 MB patch. Just what in the hell is the meaning of this?

That's a bug. I have that as well. But my download will start at 11.9 GB downloaded.

I ran into a problem actually. On a payload map I was making, the payload will NOT move after the second point.

I even tried making the points on a separate test file to get the caps working, and I got them working in the test map. But when I imported them in the actual map, they don't work.
There isn't anything wrong with the path name or nothing, it just simply will not work...

Any ideas?

The crates I see selling for $2 in the market? Hm. I always wondered why those were to desired, all I know is that they were known to house strange huntsman.
