Your soul is better then your grammar, I can honestly say that.

Here's my stupid little suggestion, you can take it or leave it...
When using your camera (I'm assuming this, because it's not flat like something on a scanner) hold down the shutter button halfway. Now it should make some whirring noises. Then you should get a green light and maybe a "happy" beep. If it doesn't do the green light and/or happy beep, try again. Once it gets focus, press the shutter button all the way in. You may have to zoom out or step back some as well. Otherwise the autofocus might not work. If in a place with low light, a tripod will help if you have it. Also use the 2-second timer (most people wonder why such a short interval is there, but it has its use) so that pushing the shutter button wont blur the photo.
If you're using a fixed focus cellphone cam, you might be S.O.L. since the advice only works for 95% of point-and-shoot cameras.
You can only sharpen stuff yea much on the computer. But it really helps a lot if the picture with the camera is clean to begin with.

Gwrog... why didn't you take the photo head on? If you have a flat surface you're photographing set it up so that it's perpendicular to the camera. Having it angled like that is wacky.
Anyway, they look nice and colorful, just impossible to see any details.
