I never doubted you. I just didn't know that they altered the text and fucked up any possible uses of it. :p Unless they fucked it up too, the next greatest alternative would be saproling burst.

Oh yes, and if you want to try something fun, try playing MTG in a Real Time Strategy mode, rather than turnbased. All turns occur at once, turning an orderly game into pure chaos. :p

They didn't really alter it, that was just the way they meant it to be played.

Why the hell do you keep asking that? You think owning a Black Lotus automatically makes you a pro or something?

It's called a Terror or Dark Banishing. Schools the hell out of fatphuck creatures like that.

Man, shut up. Unlike with Pokemon or Yugioh, HAVING GOOD CARDS DOES NOT MAKE YOU GOOD AT MTG. Stop asking stupid shit like how many of what rare we have.

Anyway, as to the earlier comments, lots and lots of small creatures are a lot better than one huge creature, as long as they're like 2/2 or 3/3 so they can't be taken out by tremor. A horde is harder to block and harder to kill, and still does the same amount of damage.

I play MTG all the time, and I have a pretty good deck made for each color except for Neutral. I like the old time games better than all of the extensions they have been making. And I do prefer smaller creatures over large ones, because by the time you get out a 7/7 Nicol Bolas Elder Dragon Legend, 7/7 Chromium Elder Dragon Legend, or 7/7 Vaevictus Asmadi Elder Dragon Legend, you could have out 8 other creatures that only cost one Mana to play and have your opponent struggling. I prefer tough cards that only cost a max of 4 Mana to play, like the Keldon Warlord.

And personally, my favorite card was an older card that destroyed everything on the playing board. I forgot what it was called, because I don't own it anymore. It is for Red only, and there was no way to counter it. It was like an automatic Armageddon.

Response to Magic: The Gathering Klub 2003-10-19 18:16:14

I would like to join your club. I hold Draco, the 9/9 flying for a fucking 16 mana! I hold 2 avatar of woes and force of nature, uh huh. That good enough? I got lots more cards! Let me in!

Response to Magic: The Gathering Klub 2003-10-19 18:21:52

I was watching this guy play he was amazing he got 76 7/7 worms out in 6 turns! That is with a little help from mirari's wake and duplicating the number of tokens he has. He played that one where you add 3 6/6 worms to the field. He flashbacked it and played another one so he had 9 worms. Then he did this thing where you duplicated the number of tokens you had an he did that like 3 times. Plus mirari's wake gave them all +1/+1.

Response to Magic: The Gathering Klub 2003-10-19 18:28:30

Man, that is just crazy. People must be pretty damn good to do stuff like that. I don't think I would ever be that good. BTW, sionofdarkness, are you still in the NG Army? No one has heard from you in a long while.

Response to Magic: The Gathering Klub 2003-10-19 19:47:44

My best card would have to be the {forget how to spell it I haven't played for so long" Serra Angel 4/4 attacking doesn't cause to tap with flying.

dude, no. The biggest creature is a 13/13 (Krosan Cloudscraper).

Response to Magic: The Gathering Klub 2003-10-19 23:43:33

O yea, and I have a lot of good cards, but my best ones are probably Krosan Cloudscraper, Mirari, "Silvos, Rouge Elemental," Bladewing the Risen, Scion of Darkness, and....that's all I can remember for now. O yea, and Kilnmouth Dragon.

Response to Magic: The Gathering Klub 2003-10-19 23:44:53

Almost forgot: I also have Mirari's Wake and Skyship Weatherlight.

Hahaha, Dreadnaught and Leviathan suck.

agreeable...
You all novices think that creatures are the primary to kill other opponents. Thats true, all beginners think of that
i can agree that dreadnaught is good, but now great, sure a 12/12 can get easily killed via naturalize, disenchant, and other possiblilies under 2 mana.
You ppl still think a 12/12 is the best, damn you ppl are hopeless with that drawback... I'd say you can get it out on turn 2 w/o drawbacks by simply stifling its ability. Otherwises we're back to the artifact kill part.
Personally i have my good solid
Black/Blue Necrodeck loaded with undermines, counterspells, force of wills, upwelling for stablizing i mean keep countering
with new Scepter for an infinate counterspell.
Finally the only creature i use is just a few neither spirits, and in the long run thats my ONLY support defense along with mass of counterspells. A simple 2/2 holding its ground, talk about an insult for that 12/12.
or i can make fun of it further by my green/black slaugher deck
Quicksilver Amulet, and Defense of the Heart the primaries.
Creaturewises: Spiritmonger, Thorn Elemental, Silvos, and KROSAN CLOUDSCRAPER a 13/13
Minored Creature: Order of Yawgmoth, Hypnotic Spectors, Hollow Spector
Extension: Phyrexian Negator 5/5 for 3, Dross Harvester 4/4 for 3. Ravenous Baloth 4/4 for 4
The rest of the deck is just Darkest Hour (terror-proof), naturalize, and underworld dreams

Creatures are good in the sense if they can be protected by other spells, yet in the sense of shock decks, or rifts decks, etc.. That i'll deal with later.
Theres my advice any people wanna bring it to me on Neutral Grounds this Saturday!
