hello fellow grounders!
i've been working on some of my stuff recently, so i decided to make my own thread.
please give me some criticism... my friends seem to like it, but they dont say what to improve on.

this one is loosely based on the beginning of FF tactics advance; in photoshop.

Whats with the mouth in the second one. IF the mouth and hair were nicer it would be ace. The third isnt bad. First one looks too " Rough".

I think they're teeth.

I like the first one, it looks like a fusion of sketchbook-style drawing and a sort of painting.

yeah, i try to make baggy pants, it didn't work.

its good, the first one is kinda rough because of the way it was colored, but yeah they're good.

pretty good but the ear is kinda weird and one hand has fingers the other is a ball

yeah, i have abit of trouble creating the jawline... i usually just draw a quick line.
and, i also have trouble with hands...

anyone know a good way to draw them better? (besides lotsa practice)

well, I know it might be hard if you're using just photoshop. I just started learning how to use photoshop so I'm terrible.

Maybe if you draw by hand and scan it in you can make the pictures look a little more refined.

as for the latest picture, the two character on the sides are kind of distorted. The girl has a big head and a skinny body, idk looks kind of strange.
third guy has a body that doesn't really fit him. Maybe try making his body a little wider so his shoulders are at least a little closer to the width of his head. or else he's just a head with a stick for a body.

middle guy is good though. :)

yeah... i drew her at a seperate time, stuck the head on the body.

third guy has a body that doesn't really fit him.

he does look like that in real life... something about his meds not letting him eat... but yes, i still have a ways to go with anatomy.

nah, i've started to make a couple, but i can find neither the time nor focus to finish one.
it's made to be very easy to draw, like volume for comics. i can both take notes and finish one of these in a 45 minute school period.

What made you choose to not use outlines for this one?

my other vector ones have double lines to make the outline, and that takes WAYY too long.
also, i thought i would try new things, test my style.
so yeah, i was both lazy and interested.

My girlfriend made me fill out that Nyuu thing. It's pronounced "meem," although certain weeaboos will try to convince you that it's "me-me."

I really like the last picture you posted. Looks nice. The other ones could use definitely improvements.

I liked the picture of the guy with the light gun, but it seems odd to me that his finger would be through the loop and about to pull the trigger yet still the same length as the other fingers. I can't really explain it well, so I hope you got what that means.
