For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 183 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

hrm. I see you like nintendo. I use to be a huge fan (Mario Bros. and Pokemon) but I would keep practicing with your work.

Hell they'll probably be really good in the near future.

Haha, yeah, I know there's a few issues with him, but it wasn't exactly easy drawing him in paint hahaha.

Hahaha, you can see the full progression of it in the isometric pixel art contest talk thread.

Here comes another piece from chemistry class (it's just so boring, I was gonna pass out from the heat today too). It's headshots of a few well known villains from the Spiderman universe.

Can you think of anything better than a laser-gun toting, pot-smoking alien?

So I decided to try my hand at a photoshop drawing edit. I did this for COW #54.

This is the original drawing

Well, I had an hour break between class and a lab yesterday (chem classes are finished for the year), so while I was waiting with my buddy in the library till 2:30 for our lab, I started drawing and this is what came out.

Yes, I know it's another clichéd Zelda piece

Anyways, I guess this is my take on the secret grove where the Master Sword lays dormant. Mostly taken from the ALttP spot.

Basically my rendition of this.

I noticed recently that your posts over the art forum have been quite...mod-like.
You lookn' to become one?

No mate, no.

Hahaha, I wish. I'm just trying to help out those that don't know any better. The art mods appreciate it when you help them out.

I would know, I asked them :P

You know, I reck you will become one at some point. I see you a lot 'round the art forums, and I seldom- no, never seen an unstructured/mean post from you. Much different to me, I'm constantly angry and often reflect this in my posts.

Hahaha, thanks for the support man. Yeah, over the years I've learned to control my thoughts and express them neatly and cleanly. I started out as your average forum idiot, but I think I've now progressed into a more learned individual. I like to provide structured posts because it allows others to understand me much more clearly, because I know how frustrating it is when people say some stupid things with the vocabulary and grammar of a 6 year old.

Oh and I've become a bit of an art head, which is why I only spend time in the art forums now. You can read up about it in my last two news posts on my profile.

Guest speaker in physics today, so that provided a nice time slot for drawing.
This started out as an alien [I guess], but ended up turning into [I dunno] a snake-demon hybrid of sorts.

The guest speaker was talking about some guy who got some bad radiation. Poor bloke even got it on his willy.

have you thought about importing these drawing into a program like illustrator?

i think it would be a great way to clean them up a little, and you could really stylize them in black and white if you wanted...

i think that it would make these pretty awesome...(even if you just LIVETRACED them, and then cleaned up the fray...)

Well guys, I got some news. I won't be around the art forum that much this month. It's exam time for me, and I finish at the end of April, so I gotta crack down on the studying. I might take a peek back to the forums every now and then to see if there are any new updates on anything, but it will basically be like I'm gone. So, I'll miss you all and see you guys in a month.

Anyways, here's my latest piece. It was my attempt at making it into the Notepad Drawing Collab 09. I put a few hours into making it, and I think it turned out pretty good considering it's my second time really using photoshop. I even worked in some shadows too.
Here's a link for it [it's too big to post on newgrounds].

Although it didn't make it in, I gained some basic photoshop artwork skills and I'm happy with it.
