I actually have none of the Muse B-Sides.

If someone would send me them over MSN or something that would be fantastic. *cough*Leanne*cough*

Some questions HAVE been answered.

Only a few, though. Answer a question or so to be answered over the week, you guys should start to check everyday, and discuss.

"There is a new song in 3 parts, more of a symphony than a song which I have been working on sporadically for many years. As a large percentage of the composition is orchestral I have never wanted to collaborate with a string arranger as they may make it 'theirs'. So I have been arranging the orchestral elements myself which is taking a long time due to my inexperience with large scale scoring. It should hopefully make the next album as the final 3 tracks. Matt."

If it's JUST going to be strings, then it's going to be lame.

That's a bit of a far-fetched claim, I think. They'll obviously have to incorporate other instruments into it.

I think it'd be interesting. Something different is always nice. And Matt does interesting stuff with strings, like those arpeggios in Stockholm Syndrome, for example.

That and strings sound ace. Just watch Lord of the Rings and listen to the soundtrack... its jizztastic.

I'm not saying it would be bad, I would just rather not. I just don't want it to be JUST the orchestra. It would definitely be awesome if it was like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a rock orchestra.

More importantly, listen to A String Quartet Tribute to Muse to see what Muse can be transformed into with strings.

Seriously, check it out, it's incredible. I especially like Map of Your Head and In Your World. But it's all worth checking out.

Don't worry, I don't think that's gonna happen. I'm pretty sure they won't be throwing away their guitars :P

Yes, I think this would be a good idea. Maybe not the whole set (otherwise it would all be Origin tracks or B sides!)

I personally think this is very stupid assumption coming from Matt. I know that fans would choose older tracks and rarely played new tracks (such as Exo-Politics, and Falling Away from You), but I find it strange that he specifically mentions Origin. Discuss.

BTW, the question that Matt responded to was "Did you ever thought about doing a "fans-will-choose-the-set" gig? Why/why not? And how about doing it...In the next month?"

If I could choose three songs to hear at a gig, they'd be Citizen Erased, Butterflies & Hurricanes, and Hyper Music.

I know they play B&H all the time, but if everyone's choosing obscure shit they'd never get a chance to play their epic stuff.

I would like to be in the front row of the Hullabaloo concert. Matt was insane when he played Micro Cuts on that DVD.

Also, 3 songs I would choose: Showbiz (is it was as good as the studio version), Citizen Erased, and Hyper Music. (we have a lot in common, bbm.)

The only reason I don't like live performances of that song is because the very end will NEVER be as extreme.

For me, it would be Bliss, Citizen Erased, and Micro Cuts. All Origin, I know, don't really care.

Does anyone else think Stockholm Syndrome isn't as great live? I dunno, I've watched a lot of videos of them playing it live, not as epic as the album version. Especially the outro.

Meh. I think the reason they did that was to make it fit the whole apocalyptic theme. Plus, I don't think it's "most" of the album, more like half, really.

And, personally, I like their more piano-driven songs :P

Guys, I always hear this saying that Muse "changed" when they walked out of Glastonbury 2004. What the hell do they mean by this?

It was even on the band's fucking Myspace. The first thing the BIo said was like: "The Muse that walked out of Glastonbury 2004 was not the Muse that walked in" or something.
