But to me it just isn't. I guess it shouldn't be too surprising, me and you are opposites on what we like about Muse. =P
Gagsy, TERRIBLE list for Black holes! You put the best songs last and the least best songs first!
eh.

lol, i'm making that my BBS quote of the moment.
Also, I think Megalomania is pretty cool, and the first note Matt hits on his vocals on the chorus is so fucking sexy I think it's going to turn into an epic chorus. Turns out not so much.
I still think it is cool, a great ending for a great album.
I can see the twist in the song "I know that underneath its me". Still, after listening to Origin many times, I still think that the album is about this guy who has a baby, kills it, and then regrets it. I know it sounds sick, but I can totally see it. Can anyone else see it?
eh.

Nope, top 6 are perfect for ME. I don't even want to class Supermassive Black Hole as a Muse record, when I first heard it before the release of Black Holes, I was actually a little worried about the direction Muse were going in.

MY MERCURY'S IN RETROGRADE?
No.
Muse like Death from Above 1979. Go listen to them, a much much better band.

YeaHh, SMBH is pretty overrated, but, out of all of them, how can Take a Bow be your favorite?
eh.

No, not much much better, but damn good yes.
Dead Womb, Black History Month and Romantic Rights are all very worthy listens. Shame they split.

Death from Above are awful.

Easily. I love it all, it's the perfect into in my mind to an album and the tune is just fantastic. Ending is a little loud I think but I loves it.

They're actually interesting and exciting. Muse are just..bland =\
Thing is i've seen Muse three times and DFA 1979 once. I got 100x more satisfaction from that one gig than all of Muse's combined.

All great songs. I'm quite partial to "Pull Out"; 1 minute 50 seconds of pure chaotic awesomness.

You like Imogen Heap and Mike Patton so I can forgive you for that comment.

I believe them to be nothing more than a band that people listen to and then think that they're listening to something 'extreme' and 'wild' and are thus 'totally open minded'.
Pseudo-Avant-Garde.
At least thats why my flat mate last year liked them.

I forgive you for liking them because you like Miss Heap :).

Do you feel the same way about Boredoms?

I've got both her solo albums and the Frou Frou album. Tbh I haven't listened to any of them as much as I should have. I'll give them another spin once I escape my Throwing Muses addiction =p

Don't know them I'm afraid.
I'll accept that I may like DFA if I heard them in a greater depth. But as my friend used to love them for the sole purpose that it was annoying and different I dislike them.

You must, she's incredible. At the moment I can't get enough of her music.

Oh well they are pretty mental. Mr Bungle seem tame in comparison =p

Fair enough. Apparently Muse listen to Blood On Our Hands to get pumped up for gigs, so thats got to count for something...

My friends are all crazy about her so I guess i'll be drawn in soon.

John Zorn and Mike Patton's 'Moonchild' is insane if you've not heard that :).

I like Death From Above 1979, but Muse = more epic.
But I'm in love with Little Girl =D
Why all the Thoughts of a Dying Atheist hate? (my favorite song of all time)
eh.

I don't hate it :P
Just think most of the songs on Absolution are better, is all.

I enjoy it very much. It's insanely catchy and it has a great chorus. The only song I don't care for on Absolution is Ruled by Secrecy. Don't know why, I just don't like it.

"Look through a faithless eye, are you afraid to die? It scares the hell out of me, and the end is all I can see."
Some of my favourite lyrics ever for any song, let alone Muse. It speaks directly to me sometimes. =[
