Yeah, I'm a little upset. The $20,000 per year that would pay for this kid's jail time could be spent on our schools, our fire departments, our police departments, and our national safety. Just because some girl thinks that she has the right to be treated like God, we have to take money from the YOU and our institutions.

The kid isn't getting ten years in prison (even if that was his sentence, he'd go to a detention center either way). The penalty of the crime he committed has a penalty of up to ten years, maximum. He hasn't even had a hearing yet, so we'll see what happens, but I doubt it would be anywhere near that severe.
