very very nice. my only suggestion is to make the "U.S.S. America" curve along contour of the ship as well

Oh, but this is actually accurate to what is going to be portrayed in the upcomming film... otherwise, yeah, I would definetely have the name curve with the countour like in this pic featuring the original motion picture design:
Very Star Wars-esque. But still good looking.
.
Hi, this is a drummer I made, the drums are a picture from my own drums and the drummer I made it, ths is one of my best 3D works, a video wth his same model is coming up, a music video with the song "vittori" from the user O3one hope you like it
a finished model of a character. Tried to go for an anime style

It's the cuffs that make the arms seem too long. They are an independent shape, rather than part of the arm. They extend the arms by a good hand-length. Make the cuffs part of the arms rather than an extension by themselves.
.
this whole thing(besides the sword) is one polygon. I already rigged and weighted it and am animating so I can't really shorten the arms any more. But please keep suggesting revisions! They are very helpful.

I'm pretty sure that isn't possible, do you mean one mesh? What program did you use on it?
On another note. here is something I was goofing around with, check my profile for another view

nope. I did this in Maya. All the clothes are extruded from the body polygon(hair too). I did the head separately but then I manually attached it.
so it's a single mesh made from one polygon, gotcha.
and no offense, but
you should unbind the mesh from the bones and fix the mesh then rebind it. honestly it kind of hurts to see the skewed anatomy
looks like hes wearing a wooly jumper as his neck looks very hanging downy but every thing else is great keep it up im not saying its bad it could just use a ittle work thats all
lavalzer is watching you sleep
thank you guys. I put a lot of work into it. I'd like to call it my sophomore effort on creating a full body model. And I'm taking a class so I really don't have the time(I already started animating). I have 2 hours per week day to work. The assignment is due on wednesday. I gotta make him throw an object and push something heavy. Any suggestions on how to work with my "skewed anatomy"?
I'm not saying it won't work. You can animate it just fine, it's just that that might haunt your subconscious a little.
Just animate it normally and it should be fine. but ig you get the chance later, give it a fix and repost it so we can see it. also don't forget to post your animation so we can watch it, I look forward to it.
raveninskyprime, looks really good man good work. I've been workin on some game characters, this one for a particurlarly long time now, n he's supposed to be some type of colonial space marine.
i like the lighting on that robot, although it seems a little dark
I will put it up tomorrow. I left it to render over night(only cause it was the end of class). It is about 90 frames with him throwing his sword. I didn't have time to do the pushing animation. I missed a few days last week. I had the sicknees.

Here's a render I did for the Tank I used in the Awards Video I did with Tom. Its isnt super detailed but for the amount of time it was on screen it's fine.
