you are right. when it is upside down, it is the transmogrifier. when it is on its side, as you have siad, it is the duplicator. thjere is also another function. I believe that this is a little known fact, but calvin has used the box as a time machine before. so that would make three uses.

here's another little known fact. spaceman spiff came from a comic bill waterson originally drew in college for a german language course. he and his companion flew around outer space in a zeppelin. spiff had a big mustache. it was shot down by newspapers for being to crude, however. not family oriented. not to mention spiff had a huge cigar in his mouth.

yeah, I love the GROSS club. It inspired me to make my own club!(no, its not on newgrounds.) newgrounds also inspired me. like GROSS, my club harasses girls! Bill Watterson was awesome at creating Calvin's diverse facial expressions with only a few lines. This one of my favorites. I can't imagine what's going through his mind at this point but that grin borders on evil.
