If you pick up this month's issue of Game Informer, page 16 has a full page picture from Alien Hominid for the XBOX 360, as part of an article about hot games coming to Live Arcade. The following page also highlights Alien Hominid and our new upcoming game, Castle Crashers.

I hear the new issue of EGM lists Castle Crashers as #9 on their hot list, I still need to grab a copy!

In other news, be sure to read my post below about user names. We can no longer allow dashes in the front or back of user names and can no longer allow underscores. Some users have already found out this is because user names must now adhere to domain name standards, so we can have pages such as tomfulp.newgrounds.com. If you haven't changed your user name yet, it will soon be auto-formatted by a script and you will receive an email with the new name.

I have manually updated hundreds of names since this weekend and we have been working with artists to make sure they get the best names possible. If you feel like you got burnt in this transition, please PM me and I'll do my best to help you out. A lot of good has actually come from the transition - we released a lot of great user names that previously belonged to inactive users since the late 90s and early 2000. It's great to see active users getting the names they always wanted but could never have.

Castle Crashers looks fun, I wish it was for normal X-Box, I don't tend to buy games systems or games, but that old kind of game style reminds me of University labs.

www as a prefix doesn't work on subdomains, so it would be info.newgrounds.com. If a user name ever needs to become a reserved word, we'll have to take it by force. That should be pretty rare, though... Right now I don't think we have any conflicts. :)

Castle Crashers looks fucking sex-tastic. I would, as they said, get a 360 just for that game. Great job.

No you're wrong.
WWW is a prefix, and it is not required.

newgrounds.com and www.newgrounds.com both work.
You won't have a million and a half of sub domains, so you'll be working with .htaccess (aka Apache)'s RewriteRule.

Configuring it well is easy, especially to your NG Crew (James and Ross). And then even www. prefix will work.
