Tom, NEVER EVER let a building contracter into your office without hiding all your important stuff. One of my friends learnt this the hard way when his house was broken into ( he had just built the house ).

Aww that sucks ass Tom, those Street Fighter controllers were sweet :( Maybe with some luck you might get it back.

I have a good question. Why the hell would someone put a large 62" TV in their office?

Because they're a game production company, and it's a good idea to have high-end equipment to test your shit on, to make sure there's no minor graphical glitches that might not be apparent on lower-end equipment?
Also because it's sweet?
-Disregard females (fuck bitches)
-Acquire currency (get money)
-Ignite cannabis frequently (smoke sum with your homies)

I have a better question. Why the fuck not?
Wow, that sucks. The guy's got balls, you have to admit. I just hope it wasn't anyone who's ever visited NG... that would be awful. Hopefully he'll be found, but as you said at least minimal damage was done. PS2s aren't too expensive anymore and you can always replace the controllers and the anniversary disc for some cash. It wasn't like anyone got hurt.
But being robbed always leaves you with a sense of vulnerability. I remember when my car got broken into... nothing was taken, but coming to my car the next morning and seeing the window smashed left me pretty jumpy for a few days. I hope that security system is installed soon. Those cameras would have been a big help to ID the thief.

When you're testing your latest console game, you want to see every pixel.. Not to mention IT KICKS ASS.
In retrospect, I like to imagine stepping into the doorway with a crowbar and boldly announcing, "Crime is a shit that needs to be whiped!", but I would have probably gotten shot as a result.

Although, in theory, it would be funnier to take the guy's wallet and throw him out of the building.
Wow that guy was ballsy stealing that in broad day light. Was he even aware who he was robbing?

A weapon of that size and caliber is to large to get down and utilize in a situation like the one your thinking of. In the the time it would take to aim the thing correctly he could just as easily be shot DEAD or attacked by someone breaking into the building.
This is why we have handguns for personal protection, and rifles for hunting.
at that close of range, if you need to take the time to aim, you shouldn't be handling a weapon

How the hell did that happen? did the guy get cought?
That was a great post. Right Zach?
Was it Mr Blobby? It was Mr Blobby, right? Mr blobby?
what i'm wondering is why he stole the ps2, instead of the xbox 360. at a pawn shop you get 30$ at most for a ps2. for the xbox 360 you can get 90 or 100. i work in a pawn shop sometimes and deal with this shit a lot. with the game and controllers it still would have only been 40$ max.

Well if you have to resort to stealing in broad daylight like that guy, you might not be a bright lightbulb =)

well dude that sux. your game room sounds nice. wish i could come visit some time hahaha. im a poor kid. nice game choice too, however i prefer King of Fighters.
What kind of retarded hobo steals a PS2? they don't have any electricity, and if he tries to pawn it, of course the people will know that the hobo stole it (cuz how could he afford it?)

That's a pretty balsy and/ or smart thief.
I have one of those Street Fighter Controllers and the huge anniversary joystick, and that's really adding insult to injury getting two of those stolen.
But look on the bright side, PS2's are fairly cheap, just go on ebay.
Dammit, Stamper. What the hell is wrong with you?
Round house kick Stranger now, save questions for Tom later.
