This goes along well with the last bit of news... people don't have to worry about their old, crappy work since it won't affect them now. So now we can really see the evolution of an artist since their old work won't negatively affect their stats.

I do agree, though, that 3 submissions is a bit low. Maybe something a bit more inclusive would be nice, giving the artist more incentive to submit more and more good work? I was thinking 5 or 10 would be good numbers to ensure that there might still be one or two works of flash sticking around that the artist would want out of their pool.

Now the portal is gonna rock ass like it was before!

Excellent idea. I had deleted a submission, to see if the batting average would change. When it was higher than I had calculated I was confused. Now I get it. That's a fair rule, though it might not be a bad idea to use like the top 1/3 of a user's submissions, to properly weight it. Just a thought.

lol this update is so great ...! Even Fat Badger ( the King of the TOTW ) Batting Average went from a 2.92 to a 4.12 !!! Hahhaa!!!! This will definitely shut the mouthes of those who diss him because of his turds!

I would like to thank james for kicking my batting average up about 0.20 and putting me at 4.12. :D

Hahaha, if it weren't for all the other authors that I'm sure that are in the same situation as me, that I'd be on the top 50 rated artists tomorrow!

Will we have to change the minimum batting average for a ballob because of this, due to everyones B/A going up a good amount. (mine when up .88)

Thats awesome. For the longest time my batting average was like B+ or something gay because of my old little shitty submissions I made in 2 minutes.

this change should make alot of user happy,a nice update for all flash makers...

The old system was better, now it's not really an average , is it now?

well it was 3.70. I thought it was pretty good actually, considering the amount of submissions i had.

But 4.07 looks sweet too.

Yay! I'm now at a 4.18! Pretty cool. I kind of liked the average of all, rather than of the user's top three, but I have no problem with it I guess.

I actually really dislike that new change. Now flash artists can sbmit a horrible flash and it doesn't affect their battling average unless of course they're top flashes aren't necessarily that high scored. I like to know their overall average not just their best work's average.

Today my BA 3,62, and yesterday it was 3,11. I am not sure if this is because of deletting my four worst movies yesterday or because of the new feature, but still better.
