Something off Scenes then. For the same reasons.
Strange Deja Vu would be good, its catchy and whatnot.

Thats a possibility, but i´d have to think good n´hard about what to animate to the song.

In my head I get the image of Nicholas going from his therapists lounge to his past.
Walking through a house, seeing some woman do shit who happens to be him or something.. and lots of panning... its pretty disorientating.

I get that with Overture 1928.
However, for me - He gets alot of vivid images about his whole life in 1 single life-changing-flash.

Overture 1928 and Strange Deja Vu are basically the same song. Its just in two parts. And instruments aren't necessarily good for flash... especially when the lyrical part has more description in it.

Though using the decriptions of Strange Deja Vu to Overture 1928 would be very progressive :P.

I really like the metropolis part in overture 1928 where it´s just guitar solo. The tone used in that part is great. And thats actually my favourite part of the whole metropolis song too - james really shines there.

Ok, so possible songs to do are;
Pull me under,
Surrounded,
Strange Deja Vu,
Forsaken.

Yes, i´m considering doing forsaken. I really like that song. I think its my fave from SC.
As for overture 1928, i don´t think i would do that one, as i said before, i don´t want to do a instrumental.

Will you actually be submitting this flash when you're done? Or just upload it elsewhere?

On a different note: Just sent my order in for my DT shirt.
Only place I can get them is online. And even then, trying to get the SfaM shirt was too much of a hassle over at their official merch site. So now I'm just getting a regular Symbols shirt. It looks nice, but not really what I wanted. :(

New banner, too. Looks nice. :D

ZOMG

I just found out today that my school's computer technician likes Dream Theater.

I walked into his office and Forsaken was playing. I was like "HOLY SHITBALLS YOU LIKE DREAM THEATER????" and he was like "YOU KNOW ABOUT DREAM THEATER????????" and I was like "FUCK YEAH!!!!!!"

He owns every album, and they are his favourite band. I used to hate him, but not anymore. :3

I don't know, all I know is this; He was very suprised when I said my favourite album was Awake. I'm pretty sure his is either Octavarium or Train Of Thought, unfortunately. :'(

He isn't a teacher, just a computer technician. He fixes computers, moniters students, restricts acess, blocks innappropriate sites etc.

Haha, awesome. I dunno if my Computing teachers are into Dream Theater. I haven't asked them, but maybe they do since one of them is into Rush and Queensrÿche.

That would be cool to have a teacher that listened to that at school. I´d just like to even know someone in real life that likes, or has even heard of DT. I have a spanish mate who´s into some heavy stuff, but mainly just mainstream like Metallica and Iron Maiden and i lent him s few DT albulms, and he liked it, but the bastard didn´t like them with passion - like us >:(

Hasn't been much to talk about as of late. Mind you, I can't speak for anyone else but I've been busy with work. After a 10 hour day I feel like falling asleep right about now. Plus, I always revert to lurking when there aren't any particularly amusing conversations going on :P

That's a pretty badass backpack up there though.

Too much school work for me, but I manage to post most of the time now.
However, It really could just be because there's nothing really going-on right now.
But, where the hell is Nev? ;O

Now, on a more Dt-note...

Double post, blarrggh.

I realized that James sounds ALOT better singing Goodnight Kiss on Score then on Budokan.
This goes for a couple of other songs on Budokan that went on to be played on Score.
He sounds winded/sick on Budokan.

Meh, it's still great.

And lets drop this whole SFAM thing. It´s a good albulm in most peoples opinions, but fair enough - you don´t like it. End of.

Anyway, on a DT topic - i´m really starting to like Systamtic chaos more and more. I especially like In the Presence of enemies Pt 1, and Pt2. And ofcourse forsaken.

Did i say this already?

I like it.
Repentance, The Ministry of Lost Souls and In The Presence of Enemies are really catchy to me.
Especially the beginning of ITPoE pt. 1. NENENENENENENEENEEE.
The album has alot in common with Octavarium.

Something did catch me, though... I might be the only one but, does anybody else feel that DT's latest stuff has a different progressive sound then 6DOIT and SfaM?

Did i say this already?

It doesn't really matter.
It gives us something to talk about.
