Edmund Interview, Juiceman Series 2006-05-04 09:02:00

Edmund McMillen, creator of Gish and The Badlands recently sat down for an interview with Animation Magazine. Go read it! He said some stuff in there that totally made my day. :)

You can also see pics from Edmund winning the 2005 IGF in the NG Lit section!

After almost three years of episodes without getting a front page nod until the end, Erik the Juiceman finally has a series page. I regret overlooking this series for so long, it makes me wonder how many other great series have been overlooked (I can already say there are a lot). Another classic but overlooked series, Zomborg Apocalypse, now has a series page as well!

Eligible users only have a few more days to vote on the BEST OF APRIL! Winners will be announced next week! I still need to send out prize packs for BEST OF MARCH, and I still need to decide on the winners for Pico Day and announce those as well. It's a HARD DECISION, we received a ton of great submissions!

I haven't seen the Badlands, or any of the Juiceman series. And i haven't been around enough this month to consider myself worthy of the vote. But i believe you can do without me this month :)

How come Nene's Suicide is in the vote? Would you just keep the money if it won?

Also, I somehow managed to vote for Bullet Bill as my 2nd and 8th top submission. There must be a problem in the code somewhere that allows duplicate selections, might want to try and fix that.

You need to make a Doom Collection! There are several great Doom cartoons floating around and it needs a collection!

Ah, I'll check that out soon. :)

I regret overlooking this series for so long, it makes me wonder how many other great series have been overlooked (I can already say there are a lot).

It's good to see that you're giving more series their own collection page however. :)

Oh, I didn't think about that. I'll probably not vote this month either though, so I guess it doesn't matter that much. :/

Well, it is primarily because the majority of their stuff is low quality.

As for the Best of April Winners here are my choices in order:

4. Newgrounds Museum I liked seeing some of NG's older submissions and icons!
5. Four Second Fury
6. The People's Mario Nice visuals, and gave unique look to Mario
7. The ClockCrew Asylum Nice idea, executed very well
8. TESSONAS Ep. 2
9. Picoday - Penillian Battle
10. Go Away! catchy song and very true!
