Leaving for San Jose

I'm heading out for San Jose early tomorrow morning for the IGF, so I'll be checking in via laptop for the rest of the week. Tomorrow is the three year anniversary of the Anime Club here on NG! Happy B-Day guys!

Before I go, I have to do a promo plug for MTV - it beats talking smiley faces and pop-ups on the front page!

The Andy Milonakis Show Season One DVD is available! Andy makes short films starring himself, his dog, his neighbors, and various inanimate objects. He's also in that film, Waiting, which also ran a campaign on the NG front page a few months ago, so I'll plug that too. You can call 212-398-9078 to hear a message from Andy, it changes each week!

Wonder Showzen Season One DVD is also available! This variety show contains all sorts of films and satire full of puppets and cartoons. I actually know for a fact that a former NG contributor is on the animation staff of this show, so I'm very happy to drop a plug!

You'll be seeing ads for Andy Milonakis and Wonder Showzen on the front page - be sure to show your support! A click a day keeps the pop-ups away (from the front page, at least)!

I'll try to post from San Jose to let everyone know how IGF is going. I'll know after Wednesday night whether or not Dad 'n Me is taking home any prizes.

That show had it's moment's, I might get the DVD and will definetly wait for the new episodes.

Wonder Shozen rules! I've only seen a few episodes, but everyone i know loves that show and are always talking about it. it's Totally Awesome To The Extreme that an NG contributor is involved in the show!

Have fun in San Jose. I went there once; they had an alright mall outside of town (Milpitas), and I'd guess you'd have plenty of fun in the Silicon Valley.

Dear God, yes, that talking smiley has to be the most annying thing I've seen on all the many Internets.
