I don't think that's true.I think this has been a savage world cup.Some of the games have been amazing. E.g Argentina V Mexico,Argentina V Serbia,Holland have been in a few great games as have Ghana and Germany.

So...Except for Ghana, who is likely to drop due to the damn brazillians, I have no one to really be a fan of. Any suggestions of games I should watch and for what reason? (I'm not a fan of germany, although they will probably win, and I'm definately not a fan of portugal, except for deco, who's a funny guy =] )

Yes, it reminded me of Arsenal last year, some player (was it Henry?) messed up a penalty cause they tried to chip it, or chip it to a different player.. Oh I don't know but it was funny.

lmao are you serious?, Italy couldnt beat the Usa with 1 extra player, and needed the help of the referee to beat Australia. Italy sucks.

Frankly, I'm disappointed by the first knockout games. Out of six games, only two looked remotely interesting, Argentina - Mexico and Portugal - Netherlands, the latter of which was interesting for other reasons than being a fine football match.

Anyway, I'm glad Portugal is still playing. I still have my chances of winning 44 €. England, having played miserably, should be no problem for them, even without Deco, that other dude who got red and possibly Cristiano Ronaldo. Portugal still has plenty of skill to defeat that underperforming team.

The games should get better in the quarter finals though. Who else thinks Germany - Argentina is going to become a classic?

They sure do so far, but they've often gotten better in the course of a tournament. Plus, if all else fails, Inzaghi is gonna dive for a penalty (never said they'd deserve the win). Also, I think that Ukraine sucks even worse. I think Italy will win, but it won't be a pretty game.

Henry claimed it was intended when he rolled it to Pires (perfectly legally) but he blatantly scuffed his shot.

The first time I noticed the little chip shot was by Yorke in a cup match about 10 years ago. Still don't know what's wrong with hard + low + corner myself.

I was dissapointed by the Australia - Italy game.

Italy didn't play well at all, and at the las LAST LAST second they got a penalty, which was also a stupid decision.
