Ok thanks... maybe if liljim comes back to this thread he can explain why some people have no rank in their profile and don't seem to really fit anywhere in the users list.

Isn't that just an occasional glitch? I've had that happen to me a couple of times, I think on b/p rank as well as exp.

Ah, ok. I must have overlooked that stuff.

All Newgrounds accounts are only "valid" if they can be tied to an existing e-mail address. If a user changes their e-mail address and doesn't re-confirm their address by clicking the link in the re-validation e-mail then their account is effectively in limbo and they do not get assigned a rank until their e-mail address is confirmed as being valid. This is what happened with Newgrunling not so long ago.

A little calculation;

There is at the moment

2 Level 30 users

2 Level 29 users

2 Level 28 users

4 Level 27 users

4 Level 26 users

8 Level 25 users

11 Level 24 users

10 Level 23 users

18 Level 22 users

20 Level 21 users

21 Level 20 users

31 Level 19 users

Total lvl 19 and up = 133
Total NG Users = 890,160

Time for me to get to lvl 19; me being lvl 13 at the moment.
1157 days, (10679 points)
If you notice, I'm missing more points to get to lvl 19 than people being at lvl 19 at the moment. Making it, pretty much impossible to get to that point.

Don't you guys think this system should be updated?
Couldn't we have more high levels? I was thinking that on more than 890,000 users at least 300 would be over lvl 19 (when you think about it, lvl 19 isn't even a top10 level!)

Interesting... I never realized this.

Ok I know Ioposted one of these before, but I found the file I saved of a AIM covo I had early Mayish of last year.

Add these to the invalid list.

I think that covers most of the ones I know, it doesn't fill any blanks. Since they were like this so long, I doubt any of them will come back to haught the list esp one of them.

not really, it took me 5 years to get this far. and i'm sure someone else can get quite far with 5 years of depositing also.

Gotcha. I suppose NOTUSINGANYMORE kind of speaks for itself.

Believe it or not, one more came out of the woodwork last night for the first time when my program caught him on deposits page. Another vagrant named SystemJinx. Now I'm only down to one missing alias.

Rank #1,416
Exp: 4,380

Indeed someone who would start today and that would never miss on deposit would reach lvl18 after 5 years... but after that much time of consistency... level 18 only?!? From my-self, I've been deposing for 20 months and I'm missing more point to reach level 19 than people being at lvl 19 at the moment. This is what I find a little weird :'(

Like it may have taken you 5 years to reach lvl 24, but it will take more than 15years to a new comer to reach the same lvl as yours. That's 3 times more.

Anyhow, guess I'm gonna have to hunt all the top 50 EXP and kill all of them ^^

Well, a new comer should have discovered newgrounds a lot sooner then.

hah, good luck on that. I could always sell my username for $1,000 if someone wants to be a level 24.. almost level 25 user so bad.

I think it would be best to just stick with one list. Rather than making a BP list... review list... post list... something like that could possibly potentially make problems for NG. But anyway, I really like the Experience list, It really shows who is active and who is not. I don't understand why people complain about levels so much. I've missed over a year of deposits and look how far I made it.

Wrong. If you would've missed over a year the highest XP ranking you could have is about 45-50

what are you talking about BonusStage? Last time I checked the levels only went up to 30... :P

Ranking. Not level. Try to imagine that there's a comma after 'year', and try to put the pieces together :)

Yeah I haven't really come up with any innovative ways of doing those lists, without the massive data transfers, so I'll just stick to this one for now.

But anyway, I really like the Experience list, It really shows who is active and who is not. I don't understand why people complain about levels so much. I've missed over a year of deposits and look how far I made it.

I like the fact that I can actually predict my new rank before the site updates itself. Just compare your experience points to others, after you deposit and you can figure out how much you're going up or if you're going to stay the same. Remember, it updates experience points within minutes of your deposit.
