Some exciting news - one of our very own Audio Portal contributors has been signed and published! Kingbastard announced the news on the forums this week.
Unfortunately the record deal required that he remove his audio submissions from the Audio Portal (bummer), but you can now own them on CD, available at CCT Records!
Yay, that sounds very cool. Nice update Tom. Too bad about the audio having to off the audio portal, but this is still good.
Its good to see more and more NG users becoming succesful off of the internet, and on the shelves in shops.

definately inspiring. i'd love to hear more about paragonx9, to see if he just creates music for the fun of it, or if he actually makes full-scale songs on CD's. im sure you know of him Tom, because of his music playing on the front page of the audio portal.
Its 2 a way pot of goodness.
- Someone gets some quilty cash for some music made for fun.
- NG gets some publicity for being the one to "promote" the songs.
So its like a 2 way dildo =S twice as much fun.
Also inspires more people to believe they could be become a pop/rock/etc star one day

I don't mean to sound like a suck ass, but Newgrounds is a harbor for to-be success. This kid's got a record deal, others are making DVD's (Knox has sold something like $30,000 worth of his DVD movie), and the good has even gone up to Tom. Starting with a rediculous game based of a morning grumble by Synj, and ending with a multiconsole sidescroller action game soon to be on Gameboy for us Yanks. Newgrounds is a starting point for successful things.
Well, good for him, though i've never listened to his music. Don't even know what genre he submitted to. Still, congrats to him.
Oh thats great news, that someone from NG actually got a record deal. But i dont think i have heard any of kingbastards music, and now its too late unless i buy the CD. But hey i just might do that to give some NGers support!

Great news, though now I can't see what he sounds like so I won't buy the album in case I don't like it. Fucking enigmas =(

If you’re an unsigned artist making futuristic techno or breaks or broken beat, chillout, then you can sell your cds and records on the site with a 50-50 split deal we will send you a cheque when ur music is sold.
If you sell many cds or records we will contact you by email to send cct some more of your material and continue to promote your music on the site to do this you need to send a cheque for five pounds and five copies of your cd or records and art work to:
