I hear Goblin decks do well. I could go with that. You could suggest a deck mixing fire with plains or something but after my experiences with multi-energy decks in Pokemon TCG a decade ago, I think it's best I only go with a single mana type or now.

If you're going for Goblins, might I recommend red / black, as most goblins tend to reside in there. Single mana is for the comparative novice, though I do have a treefolk deck, which is just green.

Yeah, red / black sounds about right. However, for now I picked up the Venser vs Koth to kick me off. Although it's said some of the cards aren't tournament legal for a certain format, I'm only going to use these for casual purposes.

Dauntless Dourbark - */*, where * is equal to the number of treefolk, plus the number of forests I control.

Actually, Treefolks are another brand of creatures I've expressed interest in.

It's a great show. The only thing I somewhat don't like about it is that it's obvious that they're just trying to increase the ratings of the show by adding sex or nudity in every episode. It's based on a book, which had a lot less sex than what is shown in the show.

Well, as it is only 10 episodes for series 1, I recommend Game Of Thrones, it is brilliant.

Series 2 is showing on TV right now, so I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD.

I watched the first two episodes of Dr.Who today.. I don't really like it. Seems a bit overrated, to me.. but I don't really like science fiction.

I'm going to continue watching, despite not liking the first episodes very much.. Maybe it'll get better.

I'm guessing it's a show that requires a lot to watch before really getting into it. That and the fact that there are tons of episodes are why I haven't dived right in for Doctor Who.

Of course. With Magic there's a lot of planning to consider with the deck. You can't just splash any card in your deck and expect it to work which is a good thing since balance is always good.

I hit 1,500 blams today :). I can remember when I used to be able to get around 10 blams a day but they seem to have got alot rarer nowadays. Too many of the crap flashes get through judgement, I blam the users that mindlessly voting 5 on everything thats submit.

True that. I recently popped in Resident Evil 3. Turns out I have to play it upstairs on our new TV because the old TV downstairs only shows the picture in Black & White (fuck you, NTSC!).
This is strange, though. I have played NTSC games before when I still lived with my mom. I only had a very tiny TV and connected my PS1 via my VHS Recorder to the TV. I could play the games in colour... so either I connected the VHS to the TV in a different way or it's just that the TV standing in my gaming room now doesn't support 60Hz, while my other TV did...
