Yeah, I kinda have/had the same problem though.My mom doesn't like me to be on the computer, and to make matters worse our computer is in the kitchen, so whenever mom my comes in alot of the time I'll have to get up and walk around and act like I'm not on it, and she kicks me off to do all this other stuff alot but I'm still getting alot of points especially on the weekands when she works from 11pm-3pm so then I can stay on as long as I want those nights

I took a break too, hmm when was it...I did alot last summer and then when school started I was still on but for half the time then idk I think i just kinda got the "fatigue" and only depostied everyday and didnt b/p,review, or post. Then when winter break came I got back on track and did how I'm doing now but on a little bit of a smaller scale (not being as experienced) then when i got my post count up to 665 and winter break ended I decided not to do anything until June 6th

I came back June 6th waited that out a week or so then started back up,then either summer already had happened, or was about to, so i kicked it in gear and thought i was doing good till i would b/p and check the portal afterwards and then alot of the things I had tried to blam were still there...

This was the beginning of the portal losing about all standards.

Shortly after I got back is when ATWI80D started and the fake preloaders sunshine group(i like sunshine flashes though). And I'm like WTF how could something like this go on and yet be supported by Wade

Actually, I'm not sure. Right now, I think that the addition of new levels is irrelevant; if there's gonna be 60 instead of 30, you'll be pretty unable to reach level 50 instead of level 25, so hardly anything's gained. In other words, it simply doesn't solve this particular problem; it *will* probably solve the problem that new users are turned off after reaching level 9 and seeing that they suddenly have to wait for three months just to get to level 10 (which I assume is something that Tom etc. care more about than us not being able to reach the higher levels), but that's it.

If you're just evaluating the idea of new levels on its own, I think it could be interesting, although it'd probably be rather disruptive, too. Whether or not it'd turn out to be a good thing very much depends on how it's executed; I'm cautiously optimistic, although I still don't have much hope that I'll ever get the golden hammer of level 27. *sigh*

So, to answer your question... I mostly care about the "it's impossible to reach high levels for people who didn't sign up soon after the XP/level system was introduced" problem, and new levels simply aren't going to help with that. The problem is the fact that XP requirements go up when Pimp deposits, and that the requirement curve is linear.

I would also be interested in sources for extra levels, the gaps are huge and lots of people complain over an icon. I would be surprised if something actually happened, even a situation like an addition of one level that requires 50,000 exp with an MS Paint made icon with the words "Happy Now?" seems unlikely. I'm not saying there aren't more important things to do, I just have my doubts which have been around for a long time.
