I don't want to jinx it so I won't say much, but I have signed an agreement of sale (pending inspections) for another office building.
As many of you remember, we were under agreement for another building a few months ago but things fell through. That building is now on schedule to be demolished and turned into a parking lot. It's sorta like one of those endangered ski resort movies, only the evil guys won and tore everything down!
That's GOOD news, though, because this new building is MUCH better. It's... FREAKISHLY better. I was never looking for a place so big and awesome, but sometimes you just find the perfect place and you have to put it all on the line. Life's about risks, right?
I'll hold off on posting any pictures until the sale is final. Inspections start on August 30th and settlement will be in mid-November. It is a two story building and the owner has a lot of stuff to move from the first floor. After inspections I want to see if we can short-term lease the second floor prior to settlement.
This will be the first time NG has ever had a real office! For ten years now, it has existed as a place in the basements, bedrooms and living rooms of various apartments and houses. Time for some change!
