WARNING: RANT MODE ENGAGED:
Yaaa...America has yet to realize that rap is not really music, as overpaid advertising for image use.
(as in rapeprs being bigshot cocky people that are top of the world with girls and money, not to mention the wigger clothes they sell)
Canadians Caught on to this and actually go to clubs to listen to some upbeat D&B and techno/jungle.
I can't stand watching the people that make music get paid $12 an hour as a person that talks for 2.5minutes and wears baggy clothes get's all the money for the song...especially considering it's the beat that people listen to mostly.
On another note, recent writer's block has come over me. I'd really like to learn how to make a good drum preset for some techno/ D&B to hopefully broden my horizons beyond my Piano and Videogame sets.
It's about the only thing I'm having trouble with.
some rap songs here are getting a little more diverse and more catchy. But rap still sucks and allways will. (cept old skewl "I like big butts")
I think techno/trance is getting more popular, but not songs without lyrics. =/ You can just add like 5 words to a song though and people will like it.
I'm sad.. my 3000GT died. I had a leak somewhere in my coolant system a few days ago, so I went and ran some stop-leak to try to fix the problem. Well.. fast-forward to the next day. I was drivin down the road on my way to work, and I heard a high-pitched whine, then saw my temperature gauge spike..
So, I limped my car to the nearest car parts store so I could get some coolant and whatnot to fix the job. I added water so I'd have enough to make it to work... and then, after trying to restart the engine... something terrible happened.
It started idling really rough, so I figured I'd let it sit a little while longer.. Well, I tried restarting my car again... and well.......
All I heard was this bad rubbing sound, and I smelled this funny smell.. and I thought the timing belt snapped, but it still had tension.. but the cams weren't moving..
So yeah.. I need a new engine.
On the (somewhat) good side, my parents' friends' had a moped that they said I could borrow if I got it running.
Well, fast-forward another two days.. and I'm mopeding around town...
It is a 20 mile drive to work.
At least there is one truly good thing about it.
With gas prices at $3.50 a gallon and rising.. the 70-80 miles to a gallon I get... is real nice.

Atleast you have a car though, or had one. what ever.
I got my permit like not too long ago and now all I need is a fuckin car.

i feel you on this one, except one car had a massive hole in the oil pan and the other had a faulty head gasket. the first car just started up with the idle extremely high and try and rev it down, the engine locked up and blew all the pistons to shratenal, and the second car just damn near blew up. the most my cutlass is facing right now is the driver window isnt working for shit, an a/c leak, 3rd cylinder (P0303), and catalyst not at threshold (P0420) (yeah, i have an OBD2 code reader). other than that, im nailing 400 miles on a tank. hehe, i love the erecting 7 foot cb antenna though. people give me a wtf look like what the hell is that supposed to be and then they see my cb radio. idiots these days. cb communications still kicks ass!!!
My civic's been gone for about a year now, For some reason Perelli's dont work when you actually need them too, just when your hammering around a Clvoerleaf at 70Mph...But when you actually need to stop before you smack into a van...The tires prefer to slide. Either way I still need a new rad for the car and a right fender. But I'll have it up and running soon. Canadians are paying about $4.70 per gallon ($1.20 per liter) and this thing is good for about 50MPG so I'm definatly gonna get it running again.

Yeh, no fun there. I need to go by O'Reillys and borrow a code-reader to see what all exactly is wrong with the GT.
I'd say either way I'm gonna have to borrow or rent a cherry-picker. I'm probably gonna sell the car, considering I've already had to change the tranny, the computers, the idle control motor.. hell, just too much maintenance. I've gotta figure out the most profitable way out though.
Either A: Sell as is to some tuner-head that would want to rebuild the engine anyway.
B: Part it out and salvage what I can from it.. see how much money I can get selling the parts that are good.
or C: Fix it up all the way, and then sell it.
I'll have to figure out what all is wrong before I get rid of it though.
From there, I'll either see if my mom is ready to let go of her old Corvette (needs a lot of work, but I could take care of it) and trailer it up to fix.. or go look around for a cheap car or truck, and get me a motorcycle.
At minimum though, I've gotta do something soon. This moped thing is gonna kill me.
Seriously just buy some asian car for like $1000. I mean, My grandpa has his 20 year old Honda with 650 000km (around 450kMiles) and it still runs like a beauty, he's never had to do any maitnence either. They might not be toy's, but they run like a dream.

yeah man, your just better off purchasing a code reader. keep it for the long run. and i am sure you are going to get a shitload of codes pulled off. the only thing is you should do is run the engine but since you cant, putting the key to where the on board diagnostic display comes on where your gauges are should do some good. i got mine at walmart for about 70 dollars and im going to try and get one thats over a hundred only because it is computer connectable. innova is what you should go for.
I don't use them enough to justify buying one.. better just putting down the deposit and borrowing one from the auto-parts store
