Another month has passed and it is time to pick the top five NG submissions for April!

For the next four days, the top 2,000 active users (as well as the mods and the nominees) can log in to their Grounds Gold accounts and vote for their five favorite submissions of the month. The five best submissions will each receive $250, a certificate and a Newgrounds t-shirt. The first place winner will also receive a copy of The Red Ninja: End of Honor for PS2 or XBOX, a CD by Ice Cream Creatures and the DVD "Alert", by Jim Ether of Perisarc.com!

There wasn't any movie that was really great this month. Hard to decided who to pick.

The guy that submitted the Non-Livingstons will probably win an award, he submitted two really high quality submissions in a day, hat off to him.

I want Las Aventuras De Mr. Coo to win the top award though, personally I think it is the best flash on the site as of yet :)

Damn I should know that was inevitable. Oh heres my votes in screenshot because its the co0l way to do it.

I still think that 4 days is too short a timespan. Specially when you consider the amount of time some games can take to complete and the fact that some entries need a bit longer consideration to realise the underlying message.

Also, Some people may only be able to put any thought into it for one or two days of the week and a timeframe of 7 days would ensure everyone could have whatever day of the week they choose to have a last ponder.

I still think we should be able to ponder over the list for a week, maybe with the list of entries being shown for a full day before voting is possible. (To encourage folk to check out some of the stuff they missed.)

Furthermore, I think that as it is, games may well be disadvantaged if they are released on the last day of the month.

I'd suggest: 1st - list of nominees is available; 2nd - voting is possible; 8th - voting is closed.

There is a problem!!! I got my game on the front page the first of April and I didn't get thing that says I can vote! Please fix it.

Everyone seems to be forgetting about "A Men's Room Monologue," which I thought was one of the best and funniest movies i have seen on NG.
