the guy obviously was seriously depressed and had anger about how native americans have been treated. On top of that his dad committed suicide a couple years ago and his mom is in a nursing home because she has brain damage from a wreck. Thats a lot of trauma for someone to deal with imo, plus if his father dealt with severe depression and commited suicide that can be genetic. When you are depressed enough you dont think straight and you are irrational about things and the sadness can turn to anger and you just flip out. Too bad no one recognized there was a problem, and too bad that he flipped out and inflicted harm towards others as well as himself. I am not taking up for the guy but if you really think about it and have dealt with mental illness you just KNOW how things are. I feel sorry for him actually. Altho his animations were pretty fucked up he still had talent and could have been someone if he would have just gotten help and continued making animations. His writing was pretty good as well. What a fucking waste :(

Cryptic, prophetic, and true. This kid was unstable to begin with, but you'd better believe they'll find something else to lay the blame on.

I think this practice of leaving harsh reviews on his flashes is quite fucking stupid if you ask me. Flaming a dead person is useless.. And it's unlikely they'd have cared pre-mortem. I just watched both of his movies and yes, they were fucked up, and quite disturbing, especially knowing what he did after making them. That being said, it's also evident that other than being a highly disturbed teenager, this kid was a pretty good flash artist and animator. It's a shame that so many talented people seem to be mentally unstable.. Then again, maybe that's indicative of the kind of mind one has to have in order to do something like what he did.

I retract my comment on calling him a "pile of human excrement". That was pretty harsh of me. That is just one of angry rants because I was thinking about the innocent people that got shot. Anyways, its unfortunate for something like this to happen to anyone. And it seemed like he was all alone in the end with no one to talk to or help him. Its just tragic.

If you read my post on top of the page...I DID mention them, AND I blame him. I didn't say he was a good person, nor a bad person. Its just people flaming in his reviews are stupid. The kid is dead and will never read the "reviews". Its like shooting a dead guy (no pun intended).

Totally agree with you, Although it's a shame that innocent people lost their life here, I know for once what's it's like being picked on in high school, and it's nowhere near easy to take in. Just a couple of days ago, they prevented another Columbine in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where 3 kids had planned to kill people in their school, They even had a list of victims. This list was later revealed as people who were picking on them.

High school is really rough for "losers". It was the worst part of my life so far. But to quote a Billy Talent video, just remember that "There is life outside these walls".
