i'm having a problem with my preloader, it is on 1st frame, but only shows up after 90% bytes get loaded
does it load library before going to frames??
Hectic no idea why it will only load after 90% anybody have an answer for this?
I have downloaded THIS pre loader for a site I want to submit my flash to. How can I get it properly assembled on the stage?
Pretty straight forward, it pretty much looks like the same code (to the spelling!) that the new grounds preloader has.
The bad thing is this is not in a single movie clip...
You would have to paste your movie into the preloader at frame 101. This is where the effects stop after pressing the play button.
I would suggest however to just create a blank frame in the first frame of your movie then grab the preloaduu movie clip from the fla and just paste it into that blank first frame. This should work no problem then.

Put the beginning frame of your flash on frame 3.

hey i love your tut, and it works. but how do i add a PLAY button to my preloader?
I know I'm going to sound like a complete retard here but I'm going to ask. How do I make the newgrounds tank preloader to get the tank to movie? I got the background colors to the color shifty thing. What I mean by move is have the tred rotate and the tank bounce. I spent an hour on it and I got pissed. I'm kind of a noob and is still learning so much thanks.

Put Newgrounds in txt box.
you need to make a Movieclip and do all the animation in there and then chuck the MC on that frame
