Its called te search abr dumbass. Plus, this was on the first page anyway. Wha tthe hell is wrong with you? YOu could ahve even givbing him the link. But you had to bump this. I dont think this thread has EVER been bumped, because it doesnt need to be!

I know it hasn't, and I understand and already knew I would be flamed for bumping it. But a dumbass noob would not get it through his head that he had to search the BBS for it, he kept searching google for some reason.. anyway, I told him I would bump it for him so he could find it and that he owed me for all the flaming I got for bumping.. oh by the way, nice spelling.

Nope, because that would send the list back onto the previous page

At 3/16/06 05:26 PM, fwe wrote: About time you updated, you drnuk bastard :D

Yeah, I've been putting it off and deleting off-topic posts on page 41 with brutality. This update took me nearly two hours, what with replacing the header on the off-site version.
btw, why do you have a Monte Cristo Reaction Paper secretly stashed in your sig?

At 3/16/06 05:33 PM, pyro111 wrote: Denvish, if I explain all the code in the tutorial I made and re-explain it (better) will you add it?

Yeah, it's a good enough tut for the specific sections, my main problem with it was the lack of spaces. Bear in mind that these tuts are aimed at people learning Flash; the last thing you want to do is discourage them by displaying a mish-mash of text.

Generally, it's a good idea to:

Split your blocks of text into paragraphs of 2-10 lines.
Add a blank line between paragraphs
Use the text formatting (i, u, b) for headings or 'special' sections of text
Either Bold or Italicise your code blocks, so that they stand out - put <i> (or <b>) at the start of the block, and </i> (or </b>) at the end

AS: Overhead Game

That took a while, but I explained all of the code, and made everything clearer, and easyier to read. I felt it was nessecary to make a new topic though.

I also couldnt think up a better name for it, because it covers so much.

If anything someone should make an enemy shooting AI section to stop all of those annoying questions. For the love of God, some1 make it. You would be doing a great favor to the BBS. Shut those noobs up.

I was suprised there was nothing like this preset in flash :o

I'll probably shove it into the comments box for flash 9, but for now you can use this:

Ha, it did me too. I was expecting him to do this:
"Yeah, so with this code, we're just gonna do a quick preview here... There we go, that's the monkey's anus there, and if you watch closely, you can see the api lines come out of his ass, just at different rates."

I created a small engin in which you select troops RTS sytle, and they follow to the mouse. Should I make this into a tutorial?

Because I cannot tell a lie, I did use codes from other tutorials, because I aam not very good at API, and I like Denvishe's code to follow and rotate towards objects. All I did was make them selectable and follow when they are, make them move to the mouse, and change color when selected, along with a few other things.

Should I still make it?
