Having sunk a lot of money into Alien Hominid and still waiting to see it all come back, I have a lot of respect for guys who put it all on the line. Take the guys who made this swimsuit calendar, for example... Their story is a sad one. Of course, I just sat in front of a computer while they got to hang out with Brazilian babes all day.
Still, lots of fun AH news. Apparently the pudding boss from Alien Hominid has been listed as one of the top 10 bosses of 2004 in Game Informer! I know I said it a few days ago, but for those who missed it, I'll be in Park City, Utah this weekend (ya know, the Sundance Film Festival). Alien Hominid is one of the nominees for the independent game festival taking place at Slamdance! I'll be in town from Friday night through Tuesday morning, so Saturday through Monday will be the best time to find me.
We will be showcasing AH at The Treasure Mountain Inn, in the lobby I believe... So you can just walk in and say hi and hang out!

Well I hope you place good. I'm sure you'll have some competition out there with all the other nominees.
Excuse me, my good sir...
When is AH coming to latin america? I've looked for it at the stores and I haven't found it :(
I was over at a friends house a few days ago, and while flicking through the pages of a games magazine I spotted AH. I wish I could remember the name of the magazine, but I can't for the life of me. Anyway, the magazine gave the game 8/10 and slated it as "one of the best old school gaming experiences in years". I was dissapointed the UK release date was TBA, but I understand it's hard getting it over. Man, I can't wait to get my hands on it though.
A bit off, but i think AH will inspire people to make really huge flash projects games hehe....
I think a candy-land game as the same base as AH will be pretty awesome, never seen it before... :P

We've signed with a Central American publisher but it has not yet been formally announced
Bring it to the UK! I (and im sure many others) can't wait to throw our money at you for all the hard work you put into AH. Anyone in America that hasn't bought it should be shot. end of.

Never fear, help is on the way! Since I have just set up my card today, I will now be attempting to order from your website! Can't wait to get the game. Thanks for being patient with me, I take it the free shipping I got in my email has expired though, right?
Oh well, either way AH is on its way to my residence.
I saw it too. Too bad it wasn't on a first place.
But that calendar thing, it is so retarded what they did. They could just make calendar in 12 days. Spend 8 hours shooting pictures of one girl every day and then choose best pictures and photoshop it!
DVD idea was so retarded.
I hope I'm not the only one who is thinking this, but Alien Hominid is great, Tom. It's an excellent game and we're all really happy that it's getting so much awesome press (as it should).
BUT WILL YOU JUST GIVE IT A REST AND GET BACK TO PICO 2 ALREADY?! >:(
heheh have fun tom u will have even more fun with the babes heheh well if they do find u interesting if u know wot i mean heheh :P
Where do you find links like thist, Tom? Ha. That's a sad story, and a pretty nice calendar, surprisingly. Maybe your post will pick up their sales.
