Alien Hominid Reviews Update

In addition to the 8.4 from Gamespot and the 8.1 from IGN, we have also gotten some great on-line reviews from:

EToyChest - 85%
Yahoo Games - 8/10

There has been more magazine coverage, as well! PSE2 gave AH an 89%!

We've updated the press section of the Alien Hominid website, so you can view a lot of the magazine coverage as well as reviews (towards the bottom, you'll find the latest EGM and GameInformer reviews).

Alien Hominid should now be available at a store near you. If you can't find it, there is still time to order from our on-line store before the holidays approach!

Still no formal announcements on a PAL version - but one will arrive in early 2005!

I see it sounds like alot of people like AH. Its worth looking into but I'm curious has anyone rated low on it? I meen it is doutful at best that anyone has but if so I'd like to see both good and bad ratings.

That game is freakin awesome! I have 3 stores that know me now just because I've been in there so much asking for that game since october 26th (when I thought it was coming out originally). But once I got it I didn't stop playing until I beat it. Now I'm doing Hard mode and then soon TS. I gotta hand it to you guys, your a huge inspiration to my future, hopefully I can show you guys soon enough what I got to show!

I'm definetly giving it a 10/10. I'm so addicted to it, beat it the day I bought it. Definetly make a sequel dude. I'm serious man. I love how there are so many NG and Synj references in it, like in the car chase level, have you noticed that Tricky The Clown is in one of the cars? :)

Alien Hominid Is Really great! I think the Graphics are uber cute. ^_^ Blaklyon and I got it when it came out. It was supposed to be at the local game store the 16th and we had it reserved for The GC, only their shipment was late! So, we had to wait for it. Checked in the store every day until it Finally got there on the 20th! Good thing we only live down the street from the shop. LOL!

Anyway Tom the game is great! We got it only out of curiosity and honestly didn't expect great things from it. We're really amazed! Any chance you'll be doing some other games? I'd love to play them if they all turn out as well. The cartoonish graphics work for it!

Yeah, and hopefully this time the publishers and stores will know what to expect. I've been having troubles getting ahold of this game, games not arriving on the right date, not enough stores here carrying it, etc.

But I swear, I'm going to get this game sooner or later. If an independent company makes a game so perfectly suited to my tastes, there's no excuse to not purchase it if I have the money on hand.

Tom, I'd just like to say thanks for remembering that there's still people out there who played games on the NES and the master system and the Genesis and all that. It's good to see that someone remembers when games were made for fun.

I thought it was a great game, minus a couple of bugs I encountered, one of which crashed the game. (Are you at all interested in bug reports? I only know how to recreate one of the bugs, and all that one did was let you get as high of a score as you wanted with ease.)

One thing I was curious about was if you guys had worked on the flash version of the game any more before you started working on the console version. Possibly resulting in a lost level?

well.. I just checked up at the nearest EB and they said that they had it for GC, but not PS2 yet which is kinda wierd cause I thought the GC one was supposed to come after the PS2 one.. but whatever. I'm ordering it online.. cant stand this bullshit any longer

great job with alien hominid tom! i bought it the day it came out on gamecube, thanksgiving, and have been switching between it and halo2. my eyes have long ago crusted over from to many video games, so ill take a break and browse my way around newgrounds for a bit!
